The Ethereum price today looks stuck near $2,430, roughly flat over 24 hours per CoinMarketCap, but that calm hides a big shift. Binance now holds 430,000 fewer ETH than it did in late August, per crypto.news. ETH also sits about 51% below its $4,953.73 record from August 2025.
Fewer coins on an exchange means fewer coins ready to sell, a setup that has rewarded patient ETH holders before. Many traders are not only waiting, though. They are also buying Pepeto, a meme token in presale that already runs a no fee exchange and has raised over $11.1 million.
About 430,000 ETH has left Binance since August 25, as reserves fell from 3.90 million to 3.47 million by October 16, per CryptoQuant's Amr Taha. That is about 11% of the exchange's stack, or $1.05 billion. Weekly average spot volume dropped 53.6% over the same stretch.
At the same time, 36.1% of all ETH is now staked, close to a record, per Crypto Briefing. Coins are being locked away, and the price has not reacted yet. While that plays out, some traders are looking for a move that does not depend on waiting.
ETH needs a lot of new money to move, so even a 23% climb can take months. A presale runs on a different clock, because its big event is the listing. Pepeto is a meme token still in presale, and its tools already work. The more than $11.1 million raised so far sits behind PepetoSwap, a live exchange with no swap fee.

Every ETH trader pays swap fees. A $1,000 swap on Uniswap costs $3, and a $100,000 swap costs $300. On PepetoSwap the fee is 0.00%, leaving only network gas, so 200 trades of $5,000 cost $3,000 on Uniswap and nothing on PepetoSwap.
PepetoSwap also never takes custody, which fits what the Binance data shows: holders want their coins in their own wallets. It offers market, limit and DCA orders, plus a private relay, on by default, that stops bots from jumping orders. Next to it sits a $0 bridge across five chains that settles in under 60 seconds.
Today a Pepeto token costs $0.00000019, and each stage lifts that price. The approaching Binance listing is the near term event, and the working tools give holders a reason to stay after it. For anyone watching the Ethereum price and waiting, Pepeto is an early position with real products already behind it.
Yes, ETH can reach $3,000 this month, but only after it clears $2,600, the wall Brave New Coin flags. Today, the base to hold is $2,400 to $2,500, with $2,300 below it. Long bets on Bitfinex just hit a four year high, so traders are leaning toward a rise.
This week, the fight is at $2,550 to $2,600. Traders Union puts the 50 day average at $2,555, with RSI near 41, so ETH has room to climb before it looks overheated.
This month, a break above $2,600 opens $2,700, then $3,000, a gain of about 23%. A daily close above $2,600 would show buyers in control, while losing $2,300 would break the setup. For a coin worth nearly $300 billion, 23% is a strong month.
The Ethereum price today may stay flat for weeks while holders wait for outside news to move it. ETH's best entry came long before any of this, at about $0.31 in its 2014 sale, per The Block, before the network even ran. Just $100 then bought about 322 ETH, worth about $1.6 million at the 2025 peak.
Pepeto is at that kind of early stage today, except its exchange and bridge already work, and more than $11.1 million has gone in. Each stage on the Pepeto official website costs more than the one before, so the lowest price is the one open now.

Fewer ETH on Binance means fewer coins ready to sell, which supports the Ethereum price today. Reserves fell 430,000 ETH since August 25, per CryptoQuant.
Pepeto offers an early entry like ETH's 2014 sale, when $100 became about $1.6 million. ETH now targets 23%, and each stage on the Pepeto official website raises Pepeto's price.
