Blockchain Confluence 2025: Lisbon Satellite of IEEE ICDLT
Bridging Academia & Industry in Blockchain
Blockchain Confluence 2025 is a practice-oriented satellite conference of the 1st IEEE International Conference on Distributed Ledger Technologies (ICDLT), taking place on November 17–18, 2025 at Universidade Nova de Lisboa's Campolide Campus in Lisbon, Portugal. Organized by Nova School of Business & Economics and NOVA Information Management School, the conference serves as a vibrant meeting ground for academics, industry professionals, practitioners, and builders—fostering collaboration and the exchange of cutting-edge ideas in blockchain and Web3. The event welcomes submissions across a wide spectrum of topics—from Decentralized Finance (DeFi), tokenization, and smart contracts to business applications like sustainability tracking, healthcare, and government services—while also exploring foundational innovations in distributed ledger technologies such as zero-knowledge proofs, layer 2 architectures, interoperability, DAOs, and integrations with AI and metaverse technologies.
