About the Event

BTC Balkans 2025 is a two-day conference focused on grassroots Bitcoin adoption and the growing Bitcoin community in Southeast Europe. Scheduled for October 18–19, 2025, it takes place in a spacious 400m² venue at the Inter Expo Center near Tsarigradsko shose in Sofia, Bulgaria, featuring a main stage with high-end sound, lighting, and climate control. Though more niche than massive Web3 festivals, BTC Balkans spotlights regional momentum, bringing together local and global speakers—like Knut Svanholm, Allen Farrington, and Katie Ananina—for in-depth discussions on Bitcoin’s future. The organizers, alongside partners such as Blockstream and BitcoinOnly, aim to foster meaningful engagement among developers, activists, and enthusiasts dedicated to advancing Bitcoin across the Balkan region.
