BTCON’s 2025 Real-World Assets (RWA) Summit in Seoul marks a major milestone in bridging institutional finance and tokenized asset infrastructure. Hosted in September, the event convened key players—including Korean VASPs, global custodians, stablecoin issuers, and regulators—for in depth discussions on the growing RWA market and infrastructure evolution. Notably, the summit featured high-profile speakers like Dong Won Lee (MBN CEO), John Patrick Mullin (MANTRA), and Gabrae Kim from Korea’s Financial Supervisory Service, with regulators outlining plans to legalize STO platforms by mid-2025. Gathering over 3,500 registrants, 128 speakers, and nearly 90 sponsors from across Asia, BTCON 2025 showcased Korea’s ambition to lead in tokenizing traditional assets, aiming to redefine how institutions integrate blockchain solutions into mainstream finance

In 2024, BTCON was held in Seoul, Bangkok, and other cities, attracting 3,500+ attendees, 128 expert speakers, and 89 sponsors and partners

The event also hosted the Bitcoin Olympics Hackathon, which had $500,000+ in prizes for developers and builders.
