The Cardano Africa Tech Summit (CATS26) will take place in Nairobi from February 11-13, 2026, and aims to be more than just a traditional conference — it is conceived as a journey. Leading up to the summit, between October 2 and December 15, 2025, there will be community-driven hackathons across Africa, where teams propose solutions rooted in local challenges, guided by regenerative principles. The top five teams from that phase will be invited to intensify their work in Nairobi in early February, culminating in the summit itself. 

The summit is hosted by Wada, XRA Agency and Beyond the Code, all in partnership with Cardano.
WADA is a key community group helping to grow Blockchain Projects across Africa.
While final numbers are not yet shared, events like this often attract hundreds to thousands of guests, many speakers, and plenty of media partners.
