CMU Secure Blockchain Summit 2025: Event Overview

The CMU Secure Blockchain Summit is set for October 7, 2025, and will be hosted in the Rangos Ballroom at the Jared L. Cohon University Center on CMU’s Pittsburgh campus. Now in its third annual edition, this invitation-only gathering brings together prominent academics, industry leaders, and policy experts to explore advances in blockchain research and Real-World Applications. Topics on the agenda include crypto-economics, applied cryptography, secure and privacy preserving systems, programming languages, usability, ethics, equity, and public policy. The summit is co-located with the seventh international Advances in Financial Technologies (AFT 2025) conference, creating a rich interdisciplinary environment that fosters dialogue across technical, economic, and governance dimensions of distributed ledger innovation
