The 6th Crypto Asset Lab Conference (CAL2026) is scheduled for January 22–23, 2026, at the Università Milano-Bicocca in Milan, Italy, with an option to participate online. Organized in collaboration with the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre, this interdisciplinary event brings together researchers, policymakers, and industry professionals to explore the latest developments in crypto-assets, Bitcoin, and Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs). Topics will include Decentralized Finance, regulatory frameworks, liquidity management, and technological innovations such as smart contracts and distributed ledgers. The conference invites paper submissions by November 15, 2025, and fosters both in-person and virtual engagement to accommodate a global audience.
This will be the 6th edition of the event, and it's organized by the Crypto Asset Lab and the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre (JRC).
