CryptoWinter’2025 Conference will be held from 13th - 14th August 2025, Queenstown, New Zealand.
CryptoWinter’25 The First Big Conference by BlockchainNZ
CryptoWinter’25 is New Zealand’s inaugural Blockchain and Crypto Conference, hosted by BlockchainNZ on 13–14 August 2025 at the Rendezvous Heritage Hotel in Queenstown. The two day event gathers up to 150 carefully selected delegates—industry leaders, researchers, policymakers, innovators, startups, investors, and Mori and Pasifika voices—for a deep dive into tokenisation, DeFi, blockchain sustainability, real world use cases across finance, real estate and cross border payments, as well as evolving policy and cybersecurity landscapes. It also includes an exclusive invite-only Policy Summit aimed at shaping New Zealand’s blockchain regulatory environment, alongside networking opportunities against the stunning backdrop of Queenstown in winter
This is an invite-only event featuring 150 top individuals from the world of crypto, including business leaders, educators, government officials, finance experts, and members of the Mori and Pasifika communities.
Over two days, people will talk about: Decentralized Finance (DeFi)– new ways to use money without banks, Tokenisation – turning things like houses or art into digital tokens, Cybersecurity – keeping crypto safe from hackers, Stablecoins – digital money that keeps its value, Rules and laws for blockchain, and Sustainability making sure tech is good for the planet
The full list of speakers isn’t out yet, but there will be: Web3 founders, Cybersecurity experts, Regulators and policymakers, and Mori & Pasifika leaders, sharing how their communities use blockchain
Sponsors will get special chances to show their brands to important people in blockchain. There are Gold, Dinner, and Lunch sponsor options.
