What is Dakar Bitcoin Days?

The Dakar Bitcoin Days is a vibrant, community-centered conference fully dedicated to peer-to-peer electronic cash—Bitcoin. Since 2022, it has brought together developers, entrepreneurs, students, and Bitcoin enthusiasts in Dakar, Senegal, to explore key themes like financial inclusion, digital sovereignty, Lightning network adoption, and grassroots education. The third edition is scheduled for October 29–31, 2025, at the National Grand Theater in Dakar, featuring expert-led talks, hands-on workshops, and a lively exchange on how Bitcoin can empower individuals and transform African economies
