DBW Hackathon 2025 will feature its inaugural hackathon, "Block & Order," on May 21–22 at De Meervaart in Amsterdam. This event brings together 50–60 professionals in teams of 4–5, combining expertise in development, AI, data, compliance, legal, and business strategy. Participants are challenged to develop AI-driven compliance agents capable of detecting non-compliant transactions, flagging high-risk activities, preventing fraud and cybersecurity threats, and automating regulatory reporting. The hackathon aims to streamline business compliance and foster greater trust in Blockchain Technology and AI by addressing misconceptions about its use in illicit activities. Confirmed partners include the Police, the University of Amsterdam, ByBit, IBCOL, BGA, and various BCNL parties
