EDCON 2025 – Ethereum's Global Community Conference in Osaka

About the Event & Who Organizes It

EDCON – short for the Community Ethereum Development Conference – is a major annual gathering in the Ethereum Ecosystem that brings together developers, researchers, innovators, and community leaders from around the world. Since its inception in 2017 in Paris, EDCON has been hosted in diverse cities—from Sydney to San Francisco to Tokyo—all to foster collaboration, share breakthroughs, and showcase real-world Ethereum and Web3 applications. In 2025, the event will be held in Osaka, Japan (scheduled between August and September) and is expected to draw over 20,000 attendees, featuring more than 300 speakers, 450+ projects, and thousands of developers. The conference program includes keynote talks, technical workshops, panel discussions, plus a Super Demo Day where startups pitch for visibility and prizes. Under the ethos “True to Our Core, Bold in Our Future,” EDCON Osaka aims to bridge global Ethereum communities and drive forward the next generation of decentralized innovation
