About the Event & Organizer

The Latina Blockchain Hackathon 2025, hosted by Women Biz, is a 12-day innovation event aimed at driving the adoption of blockchain and other emerging technologies among women in Latin America. Throughout the hackathon, participants are challenged to create real-world solutions using blockchain, Artificial Intelligence, and other cutting-edge tools. Mentors and judges come from diverse spheres such as finance, tech innovation, and investment—people like Laura Suárez León (One Crypto Ventures) and Tania Ramos (Banco de la Nación), offering guidance and evaluation. The goal is to teach, empower, and connect women in Web3, blockchain, and other new tech fields.

Event Highlights

300+ women from about 16 Latin American countries joined the last edition.

400+ total sign-ups, including bootcamp students and online guests.

40+ projects were built and shared.

Over 10 workshops and 30+ mentoring sessions gave teams hands-on help.

All activities are available both on-site and on Discord for global access.
