Most NFT drops are public rushes where everyone sees the art and the price at once. A new project called Fungo is trying something different. The FungoLabs NFT sale goes live on November 5, 2026, with 3,232 NFTs on Ethereum, according to FungoLabs.

The twist is simple: nobody can see what others bid until the sale ends. So how does a hidden sale work, and what should first-time buyers know?
The supply is split into three parts:
Free mint: 500 NFTs for whitelist holders, who pay only network fees
Public sale: 2,500 NFTs sold through private bids
Team share: 232 NFTs
Each bidder picks a price and a quantity, paid in cZAMA, a private version of the ZAMA token from Zama crypto technology. Others cannot see those numbers while bidding is open.

Onchain, only the bidder, the time and the bid count are visible, per the sale thread.
When the sale closes, all bids are opened and ranked from highest to lowest. The lowest bid that fills the 2,500th NFT sets one final price. Every winner pays that same price, and extra cZAMA is returned. Bids below it win nothing and are refunded. Bids are final, and a small bidding fee is not refunded, based on the project site.
A typical crypto NFT shows its art and traits to everyone at mint. Fungo hides them using fully homomorphic encryption, a method that lets software work on data without reading it. Each Genesis NFT has two layers:
The Look: the art starts sealed. Only the holder can see it, and may share it publicly or keep it private
The Essence: class, element and four stats (Secrecy, Intuition, Will and Energy) stay hidden for good, even from the team
Values are drawn at random during minting, so nobody can steer the result. Ownership and trading stay public. A planned game will use these hidden stats in battles.
The TGE, or token generation event, is when tokens are first handed out. Total $FUNGO supply is 10 billion, with no presale and no investor share.

The FungoLabs tokenomics lists the main shares:
Genesis holders: 36% of supply, or 1,113,861 $FUNGO per NFT
Zama OG holders: 7% of supply
Revenue share: 20% of launchpad revenue split equally across all 3,232 NFTs, paid in ETH, ZAMA and tokens from new collections, as detailed here
X campaign: a 300 million $FUNGO reward pool for posts made since November 1, per the campaign post
This crypto airdrop covers Genesis holders, Zama OG holders and campaign participants. The posts reviewed give no $FUNGO TGE date and no exchange listing details yet.
Studios can already apply to the planned launchpad, where other teams can run sealed sales too. Whitelist applications are closed, and the game comes later.
The risks are plain. Bids cannot be pulled back, the bidding fee is not returned, and the encryption method is new. NFTs can lose value, and tokens carry no promised return.
The November 5 sale will show whether private bids can produce a fair price. If they do, the next token launch on the launchpad and the $FUNGO TGE will draw far more attention than this first drop.
