Very Network News Today: Mint Rules, KYC Withdrawals and Token Supply

The last VeryPunks pieces go on sale today. The final remaining-supply mint launches at 09:00 UTC, costs 1,000 $VERY per piece and stays open until the stock is gone, per the Very Labs announcement.

VeryPunks pieces go on sale today

Very Network news rarely comes with a built-in burn, but here a sell-out destroys the VERY spent. That turns a collectible drop into a test of Very Network crypto demand.

VeryPunks Mint Launches Today: Price, Cap and Where Minting Works

The latest Very Network news from Very Labs describes VeryPunks as a 10,000-piece profile-picture collection tied to VeryChat, its messaging app with a built-in wallet. The team has said the pieces are pure collectibles with no promised utility, per an earlier Very Labs post. The rules are strict:

  • Price: 1,000 VERY per piece

  • Cap: two per account across all paid rounds; the free VeryCoinTree Telegram NFT is not counted

  • Start: October 13 at 09:00 UTC (6 PM KST), open until sold out

  • Where: a banner in the VeryChat app, on the Mining page or in the Rewards tab below Very Capsule

  • Payment: $VERY held in VeryWallet only; the in-app mining balance cannot be used

Anyone holding two pieces is locked out, while a holder of one can add a second. The wallet-only rule is the catch. Mining rewards sitting in the app cannot pay for a piece, so the real question is how much $VERY has actually reached wallets.

Very Network KYC Data Shows Who Holds the VERY Needed to Mint Today

The Very Network whitepaper holds a partial answer. Its operations report, dated October 5, tracks VERY withdrawn on-chain through two Very Network KYC rounds and node payouts.

Among Very Network news items this month, it is the one with hard numbers, per the whitepaper:

  • First KYC round: 17,592 people, 195,756,065.6 $VERY

  • Second KYC round: 98,839 people, 580,942,681.6 $VERY

  • VeryChat KYC subtotal: 776,698,747.2 $VERY

  • Node withdrawals: 1,197,084,303 $VERY

  • Total: 1,973,783,050.2 $VERY

By simple division, first-round participants withdrew about 11,100 $VERY each, against roughly 5,900 in the second round. Either average covers the two-piece cap with room to spare, though averages hide wide gaps between individual holders. Nodes account for about 61% of the total flow. The report also excludes marketing amounts and does not measure circulating supply, so the totals need context from the wider token budget.

Very Network Total Supply Stays at 10 Billion After Allocation Shift

Very Network total supply remains 10 billion token, and the Very Network news here is the revised split from October 7, per the tokenomics page. Community and marketing rose from 5.1 billion to 5.6 billion token, while treasury and grants fell from 1 billion to 500 million. The current allocation:

Very Network Total Supply

  • Community and marketing: 56%, or 5.6 billion

  • Team and advisors: 19%, or 1.9 billion

  • Investors: 10%, or 1 billion

  • Liquidity provision: 10%, or 1 billion

  • Treasury and grants: 5%, or 500 million

Inside the community pool, 3.4 billion token funds VeryChat rewards, 2 billion goes to node validators and 200 million to marketing. Very Network mining rewards, which the whitepaper calls fruit rewards, run through seven halving stages up to 2.2 billion cumulative VERY.

These are budgets, not circulating tokens or payouts already made. By that yardstick, the 1.97 billion withdrawn equals about 19.7% of total supply, and that 10 billion base is what frames the mint’s burn.

Very Network News on the Burn: What a Sell-Out Would Mean for VERY

A burn destroys tokens for good, which lowers supply. If the VeryPunks stock sells out, the VERY spent on minting is burned. Each piece costs 1,000 VERY, so even all 10,000 pieces would burn 10 million VERY, about 0.1% of supply. That is my own math, and the real number will be lower because some pieces are already sold.

The burn is small. The bigger signal is demand: will holders spend VERY on something besides rewards? Because VeryPunks have no promised use, their value depends on collectors, and collectibles can lose all of their value.

Very Network crypto now faces a clear test. A fast sell-out would confirm the burn and show real spending demand. A slow one would suggest few holders have wallet tokens ready. Very token news today will turn on that pace, and the operations team’s next report will show whether more VERY is reaching wallets. For crypto news today, that is the number to follow.

Note: This article is for information only and is not financial advice. Crypto assets and NFTs are volatile and can lose all value, so readers should research independently before taking part.
