WATS Wallet bStocks support for NVIDIA tokens on BNB Chain

October, 2026 – WATS, the self-custody wallet built by Alltoscan LLC, has added tokenized-stock support for bStocks on BNB Chain. NVIDIA is the lead example in the announcement.

bStocks are tokenized U.S. securities that Binance introduced on June 11, 2026, as BEP-20 tokens. WATS is non-custodial, so users hold their own keys. It runs as a Chrome extension and a mobile app across EVM chains, Solana and TON.

At a Glance

  • Wallet: WATS, non-custodial, built by Alltoscan LLC

  • Token standard: BEP-20 on BNB Chain

  • Lead example: NVIDIA bStock

  • Platforms: Chrome extension and mobile app

  • Networks: EVM chains, Solana and TON

  • Fee token: ATS on EVM networks and TON, SOL on Solana

What Is New in WATS

The changes are listed in the wallet’s open-source release notes on GitHub:

  • v1.8.0 (October 9): Adds bStocks prices from the Atlas oracle. The feature sits behind a flag that was off by default.

  • v1.8.1: Stops an imported contract from copying a real stock’s name, logo and verified badge. It also fixes cases where a stock transfer could proceed after a network lookup error.

  • v1.8.3: Adds a news announcement for tokenized stocks.

  • v1.9.0: Moves a Stocks tab ahead of Activity.

Tokenized stocks are also marked on the destination side of a bridge transfer. Each feature depends on the app version, so users should check which one they run.

On EVM networks and TON, fees are paid in the ATS token. Solana transactions pay SOL. WATS notes this does not make fees cheaper.

The NVIDIA Example

Buying NVIDIA shares normally means using a brokerage. With bStocks, a tokenized version tracking the price of NVIDIA can sit in a self-custody wallet on BNB Chain. WATS users can reach it from the same wallet they use for other crypto assets.

About bStocks

The official BNB Chain blog names NVIDIA, Tesla, Circle, Micron and SanDisk among the first tickers.

According to the official bStocks site, the tokens are issued by BTECH Holdings Ltd, a Binance group affiliate. Each token is backed 1:1 by a share held with a regulated custodian. Holdings are checked against token supply through a daily proof of collateral. Users can withdraw the tokens to BSC-compatible wallets for self-custody.

Industry Context: Tokenization and RWA

bStocks are part of the wider trend of real-world assets (RWA) on blockchain. The idea is to represent traditional assets, such as stocks, bonds and real estate, as tokens that can be held and moved on-chain.

Binance reported that bStocks passed $1 billion in assets under management four months after launch. The lineup grew from five tickers in June to nearly 100 by October. It now includes semiconductor names, AI infrastructure stocks and sector ETFs. DeFi protocols such as Venus, Lista DAO and PancakeSwap support the tokens.

Trust Wallet supported bStocks at launch, with five tokens live on day one. It says users can lend on Venus and Lista DAO, trade on PancakeSwap and Aster, and that dividends and stock splits are processed automatically. Binance Wallet also supports bStocks.

Access and Identity Checks

Holding stocks through a brokerage usually requires an account and identity verification. The WATS wallet is self-custodial and does not ask for an identity check.

That does not mean anyone can buy U.S. stocks in any country. Buying or redeeming bStocks can still involve Binance eligibility rules. Access depends on the issuer, the platform and the user’s jurisdiction.

Ownership and Risks

bStocks give economic exposure to the price of the underlying stock. They are classified as certificates representing financial instruments, not as direct shares. Binance has said they are designed to mirror the price of select U.S. stocks and ETFs and do not represent actual ownership.

Dividends and stock splits are reflected through on-chain balance updates. Conversion into the underlying share happens on Binance, subject to applicable laws.

Several risks apply:

  • Issuer and custodian risk: If BTECH Holdings or the custodian runs into trouble, holders depend on the legal structure behind the 1:1 claim.

  • Price and liquidity risk: Tokens trade around the clock while U.S. markets are closed, so prices can drift from the underlying share.

  • Technical risk: Smart contract bugs and wallet errors can cause losses.

Guidance for Holders

  • Copy the contract address only from the official bStocks site or the BNB Chain blog, never from a social media post.

  • Confirm that the bStocks feed is enabled in the installed WATS version.

  • Check local rules on tokenized securities before buying.

  • Keep amounts small until conversion and redemption are fully understood.

About WATS

WATS is a self-custody wallet built by Alltoscan LLC. It ships as a Chrome extension, a mobile app and an NFC metal card, and all three share one self-custodial identity. It supports EVM chains, Solana and TON. The extension’s source code is open under an MIT license, so outside developers can inspect changes such as the bStocks price feed.
