XRP and DOGE are back in focus as on-chain data and chart signals point to possible buying zones. Analysts say recent holders of both coins are sitting on losses. That has happened before near market turning points.
Dogecoin trades near $0.0814, up 2.71% on the day. XRP trades at $1.33, up 2.60%. Here is what the data shows and what traders are watching next.
Two kinds of signals stand out. One comes from on-chain data shared by Santiment. The other is a TD Sequential reading on the Dogecoin daily chart.
Santiment says DOGE stands out among top coins. XRP sits close behind. Both show recent buyers in net losses on average.
MVRV compares a coin's current price with the average price holders paid. A reading below 1 means the average holder is at a loss.
High MVRV can warn that profit-taking is building. Low MVRV can show areas where selling pressure may be close to exhausted. Santiment notes traders can use these extremes to judge risk, not just price.
Asset | 365-Day MVRV | What It Suggests |
DOGE | About 0.74 | Recent holders deeply underwater |
XRP | About 0.92 | Traders in net losses |
BTC, ETH, LINK | 0.97 to 1.04 | Near breakeven, no extremes |
Analyst Ali Charts shared three reasons to watch DOGE near $0.081. The signals are lining up in one spot, which is why it gets attention.
Factor | Data Point |
TD Sequential | Buy signal on the daily chart near $0.081 |
Support (URPD) | About 36 billion DOGE traded near $0.081 |
Whale activity | About 600 million DOGE added since October 12 |
The TD Sequential has marked turning points for Dogecoin before. Its chart shows one earlier signal followed by an 18.74% rise, and another that came before a 13.92% drop.
So it is not a perfect tool. Heavy trading at one price also does not guarantee buyers will defend it.
If $0.081 holds and DOGE rebounds, Ali Charts is watching $0.16 to $0.17 as a possible profit-taking zone.
Cost-basis data shows about 12 billion DOGE were bought near $0.16. Another 14 billion were bought near $0.17. Those clusters could make the area hard to clear.
From $0.0814, the $0.16 to $0.17 range is roughly 97% to 109% higher. That is a big move, and nothing says it will happen.
If $0.081 breaks, the main anchor of this setup is gone.
Analyst JAVON MARKS says XRP looks ready to extend toward a macro target of $15 or higher. His view is that breakouts are holding while the wider altcoin market lines up.
With XRP at $1.33, the $15 target is about 11 times the current price. That is roughly 928% higher.
His chart points to a repeating structure, with triangle breakouts leading to the target. It is one trader's read of the chart, not a forecast anyone can rely on.
For XRP and DOGE, none of these numbers promise a move. They only show where interest is building.
Coin | Level | Why It Matters |
DOGE | $0.081 | Buy signal, 36 billion DOGE traded, whale buying |
DOGE | $0.16 | About 12 billion DOGE acquired |
DOGE | $0.17 | About 14 billion DOGE acquired |
XRP | $15+ | Macro target from analyst JAVON MARKS |
Low MVRV shows holders are in pain. It does not say the price has hit bottom. Prices can stay low for a long time.
Whale buying of 600 million DOGE is also small next to the 36 billion DOGE that traded near support. Traders should keep that in mind.
Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Chainlink look neutral for now. Without a broad market push, altcoins may struggle to follow through.
