Zcash Price Prediction: ZEC Key Target Levels

Zcash pulled back today, but the bigger story is who's still buying. $ZEC is trading at $1,536.34, down 1.58% on the day, cooling off after a sharp rally.

Grayscale's spot ZEC ETF absorbed $46.6M in a single day this week, pulling in $60.5M in total and now holding roughly 3.54% of ZEC's supply.

This Zcash price prediction looks at what today's liquidation data and chart levels say about where price goes next.

Market data checked on September 19, 2026.

Why Is Zcash Price Up Today?

NU7 upgrade announcement: Zcash developers confirmed the network's NU7 mainnet upgrade for November 5, which will cut block times from 75 seconds to 25 seconds while keeping the existing halving schedule intact.

ETF momentum: Grayscale's Zcash ETF has pulled in roughly $843M in assets under management and recently announced a 3-for-1 share split to make it more accessible, alongside $46.6M in fresh inflows.

Institutional interest: Firms including Paradigm and Dragonfly have disclosed $ZEC positions, and several well-known crypto commentators have been amplifying Zcash-related narratives, pushing social volume sharply higher.

NFT ecosystem growth: New Zcash-native NFT projects are launching with privacy-focused shielded mints, adding fresh on-chain demand around the token.

Zcash Technical Analysis: Breakout Setup, Key Levels Ahead

ZEC is trading at $1,536.34, just above the 1.0 Fibonacci level at $1,517.33, after pulling back from a high of $1,585.94. That level was the prior swing high used to draw this extension, so holding above it keeps the breakout structure intact even with today's dip.

The EMA cluster is far below current price, at $1,171.03 and $922.51, meaning there's a wide gap between here and any serious trend-support test.

If ZEC holds above $1,517, the next target is the 1.618 extension at $1,995.68, and beyond that, $2,769.71.

Losing $1,517 would open the door to a deeper pullback toward the $1,221 to $1,130 zone.ZEC Technical Analysis: Breakout Setup, Key Levels Ahead

ZEC Price Outlook: What Could Happen Next?

Bull case: Holding above $1,517 while ETF inflows keep climbing supports a push toward $1,995.68 and eventually $2,769.71.

Bear case: A daily close back below $1,517 would put the recent breakout in question and risk a slide toward the $1,221 to $1,130 retracement zone.

Zcash Price Prediction: Can Zcash Reach $2,769.71?

It's the highest level on this chart's Fibonacci extension, and it stays in play as long as ZEC holds above $1,517. Getting there would take a full leg past $1,995.68 first, so it's a longer-term target rather than an immediate one.

Zcash Price Prediction 2026: Expert View

According to CoinGabbar analysts, Today's pullback looks more like profit-taking than a trend change, especially with ETF demand still climbing rather than fading. $1,517 is the level that matters most right now: holding it keeps the bullish structure intact, while losing it would be the first real sign that this run is running out of steam.
