The latest cPen Network Update says applications are now open for members hit by the BitMart shutdown. In a post dated October 31, 2026, the team said the program runs entirely inside its mobile app. It follows a promise made in August to support affected members.
The team stressed that this is its own program and that the exchange is not involved. Approved applicants receive HATN, the asset members mine in the app, at a fixed rate per approved CPEN. Applications close on January 31, 2027 (UTC), which gives members roughly three months.
The program is free, and applicants do not need to email the team or send documents. The cPen Network Update also describes the effort as a one-time goodwill measure.

According to the cPen Network Update, an applicant must meet both of these conditions:
The 2025 distribution went to the person’s deposit address on BitMart.
The person still held funds there on July 26, 2026, or withdrew them during the shutdown and paid the high withdrawal fee.
The official app from the App Store or Google Play, version 1.3.34 or later.
A self-custody wallet saved in the app, such as MetaMask or Trust Wallet. An exchange address is not accepted.
One application per account. No identity verification is required to apply.
Identity verification will be needed before any future HATN token distribution, according to the team.
The process has four steps, all completed inside the app:
Install the latest version from the App Store or Google Play, then sign in.
Save a self-custody wallet in the Wallet section.
Open the HATN card on the Home screen and tap the line about assistance for exchange users.
Follow the prompts and wait for the check to finish.
The check usually takes a few minutes. It can take up to a few days when many people apply. Results appear in the app, and where relevant the app also shows the transaction behind the decision.
Applicants enter how much they held on the exchange on July 26, 2026. That figure includes funds sold later or withdrawn with the high fee.
As the cPen Network Update explains, the team approves up to the amount sent to the applicant’s exchange address, capped at 20,000 tokens.
Rule | Detail |
Reward rate | 0.5 HATN per approved CPEN |
Approval cap | 20,000 tokens per applicant |
Maximum payout | 10,000 HATN |
Changing the amount | Not allowed after applying |
Effect on mining | Extra allocation, no reduction for others |
The team gave an example. A user received 8,000 tokens in 2025 and still held 5,000 on July 26, 2026. That user enters 5,000, receives approval for 5,000 and gets 2,500 HATN.
The team asks applicants to enter the amount honestly. Readers can use the cPen Network Update example to estimate their own figure before applying.
Every allocation arrives locked. Each day a member makes the basic mining claim; one 120th of it unlocks, rounded up to a whole unit. Under that formula, the 2,500 example would unlock about 21 units per claim day.
The unlocked portion then follows normal mining rules. The cPen Network Update lists these conditions:
Days do not need to be consecutive.
Missed days never reduce the locked amount.
Vacation, personal day, and holiday protection days do not unlock anything. Only a mining claim does.
Unlocking pauses while an address is under review.
Date | Event |
January 31, 2027 (UTC) | Last day to apply |
December 31, 2027 (UTC) | Anything still locked expires |

The cPen Network Update says checks are automated, with manual review in the cases below.
Transfers only to identified exchange addresses: the address passes.
No outgoing transfers: the address may receive provisional approval. This includes addresses that only received fee funding from the exchange.
Transfers to other wallets or contracts: the address is not eligible. If it also sent funds to BitMart, the team reviews it first.
Provisionally approved addresses stay under monitoring. If one later sends assets to an unidentified destination, unlocking pauses for a review of about seven days.
Unless that destination is confirmed as the exchange, the allocation is cancelled. Remaining locked HATN is removed, and any amount already unlocked is taken back. Token burns and transfer fees paid during a transfer to the exchange do not count against an applicant.
This is a one-time goodwill program, and the team does not accept responsibility for the exchange’s actions. The allocation does not depend on recovery of funds.
If BitMart later returns assets, the member keeps the allocation, subject to the other rules. False statements or multiple accounts lead to cancellation. Full terms appear in the app’s terms under the program name for exchange users.
The team also issued a safety warning. Applications should be made only inside the official app. It said it will never send a claim link, ask for a fee, or request a seed phrase.
Members should treat any message that does so as a scam. In short, this cPen Network Update gives affected members a defined path, fixed limits, and clear dates, while the review rules decide who keeps an allocation.
