When Will Recall Network Shutdown? Token Burn, Treasury and Allocation

The Recall Network Shutdown is now official. On October 30, 2026, the Recall token announced that it will wind down and burn about 358.6 million RECALL tokens, or 35.86% of the total supply.

Holders want to know what happens to their tokens, their staking positions, and their access to the app. This report answers those questions using the Foundation’s own notice.

At a Glance

  • The Recall Foundation announced an orderly crypto shutdown.

  • About 358.6 million RECALL tokens will be burned.

  • Holders get no buybacks, redemptions, or treasury payouts.

  • Staked RECALL token stays outside the burn.

  • The app turns read-only on November 30, 2026.

  • Final liquidation and the last burn are expected in Q1 2027.

Why Is Recall Foundation Shutting Down After One Year?

Recall launched in October 2025 to support open evaluation of autonomous AI agents. The board reviewed protocol adoption, running costs, and growth forecasts. It concluded that continuing development is not commercially viable. After weighing other options, it chose an orderly wind-down.

It was clear that this is not the result of a hack or security incident. That detail matters for holders who feared an exploit behind the Recall Network Shutdown.

Recall Plans to Burn 358.6 Million RECALL Tokens

The network will send every token it controls to the dead address 0x000000000000000000000000000000000000dEaD. The burn covers locked and unlocked tokens. Total supply would fall to an estimated 641,437,558 RECALL, with none held by the Foundation.

What Happens to RECALL Token Holders?

Holders will not receive buybacks, redemptions, or a share of the treasury. The Recall Network Shutdown also ends network liquidity support and administrative help. The RECALL contract on Base is immutable, so it stays live.

A burn cuts supply, but it is not compensation. It does not guarantee a higher price. Exchanges decide on their own whether to keep trading RECALL, and the network expects some delistings. It did not name any exchanges, and it gave no token price.

Can Users Still Withdraw Staked RECALL Tokens?

Yes. Staked RECALL belongs to the holder and is not burned. Nothing is unstaked automatically, so each holder must act.

  • The 30-day cooldown is removed for new unstake requests made from October 30.

  • Requests already in cooldown keep their original dates.

  • Original lock-up periods still apply.

  • If your lock-up ends after November 30, withdraw through the staking contract.

To use the contract, connect your wallet on BaseScan and use “Write as Proxy.” Call unstake(tokenId) once your lock-up ends, then call withdraw(tokenId). Both steps need Base Ethereum (ETH) for gas.

Recall Application Shutdown: What Changes on November 30?

The app at app.recall.network becomes read-only on November 30, 2026. Normal features will stop working. New competitions and staking rewards have already ended. Running competitions will finish, and earned rewards will be paid through the app. Protocol development and liquidity support are discontinued. Withdrawals through the contract stay available.

Recall Network Shutdown Timeline: Key Dates

  1. October 30, 2026: Wind-down announced. Cooldown removed for new unstake requests. Staking rewards and new competitions stop.

  2. November 30, 2026: App becomes read-only. On-chain withdrawals continue.

  3. December 2026 (est.): Atlas Networks Limited, the Foundation’s subsidiary, enters voluntary liquidation.

  4. January 2027 (est.): It enters voluntary liquidation.

  5. Q1 2027 (est.): Final liquidation and last token burn.

The December, January, and Q1 dates are estimates, not confirmed completion dates.

Is Recall Labs Also Shutting Down?

No announcement says so. The board made its decision independently of Recall Labs, which is a separate company. The notice covers only Recall Foundation and Atlas Networks Limited.

Scammers often target a Recall Network Shutdown. The Foundation says there is no redemption, new token, airdrop, or migration. It will never send direct messages or ask for a seed phrase. Trust only the official post, the @recallnet account on X, and the official Discord.

Conclusion

The board ended Recall because adoption and costs did not support further work. The Recall Network Shutdown includes a 35.86% supply burn and no payouts for holders. Stakers should act before the November 30 app deadline, or use the contract afterward. The Foundation’s closure does not mean Recall Labs is closing.
