GXT Exchange mainnet launch announcement

GXT Exchange Mainnet Launch set for August 28; TGE to Follow

GXT, a crypto trading platform, has confirmed its mainnet will go live on August 28, marking the project's token generation event.

The announcement comes as GXT Presale Stage 2 and Mining Phase 3 remain active.

Project announced the date on its official X account in a post titled "The Next Era Is Loading," shared at 8:56 PM, Jul 23, 2026.

The GXT Exchange Mainnet launch gives the project a fixed timeline after months of pre-list activity through phased mining and a three-stage token presale.

GXT Exchange Mainnet Launch: Key Details

  1. No technical details were shared beyond the August 28 date itself

  2. The official website carries a matching message: "Stay tuned for the launch."

  3. The GXT release will coincide with the project's Token Generation Event

  4. TGE is the point at which GXT tokens are minted and distributed on-chain

  5. Token distribution covers both mining and token sale participants

Why the Release Date Matters

The GXT Exchange Mainnet launch date gives a fixed point for moving from a pre-live early token sale and mining phase.

Until now, the project has existed mainly as a presale and mining program rather than a live trading platform. Its website describes planned services including spot trading, futures trading, and a peer-to-peer marketplace, all powered by the GXT token.

A confirmed date also gives token holders a reference point for when their locked allocations begin unlocking.

GXT Early token sale Stage 2 and Mining Phase 3 Status

According to the GXT roadmap page, two programs are active ahead of the release of date: Mining Phase 3 and Presale Stage 2.

Mining Phase 3 distributes 10 million GXT tokens with full unlock at TGE, while Presale Stage 2 offers tokens at $0.15 each with partial unlock at TGE and the remainder locked for three months.

Beyond the Launch: GXT Listing and Roadmap Status

Project has stated it applied for a listing on CoinMarketCap, sharing a ticket number for the submission on its X account.

The official post has not confirmed whether the listing has been approved.

It has also said its Android and iOS apps are submitted for review, with a stated goal of availability before the date.

Note: GXT is also used by a separate, unrelated project called Gem Exchange and Trading, a Singapore-based company in diamond and luxury trading since 2019.

Readers should confirm they are referencing GXT Exchange, the platform behind this announcement, and not the older company sharing the same ticker.

Beyond the mainnet launch, the roadmap lists further items without confirmed dates: listings on centralized and decentralized exchanges, on-chain governance, a GXT Pay Card for the first 1,000 Stage 1 buyers, a self-custody GXT Wallet with DEX and NFT support, institutional and OTC services, and a planned native Layer 1 blockchain.

No technical details about the mainnet's architecture have been released.

Early token sale Stage 2 stays open until July 28, and Mining Phase 3 runs until August 1, both ahead of the GXT Exchange Mainnet launch on August 28.

CoinGabbar Analysis

The GXT Exchange Mainnet Launch marks a clear checkpoint for a project that has, so far, operated mainly through presale and mining programs rather than a live.

With the CoinMarketCap listing still pending and no technical specifications released, the coming weeks will show whether GXT can deliver a working platform on schedule.
