cPen Network confirmed on July 31, 2026, that INK token mining has officially ended and that its app has automatically switched over to HATN, its new attention-based system.
The update, posted by the project's official X account at 11:55 PM UTC, said the change took effect on July 30, 2026, and that (Human Attention Token) is now live for all users.

According to the official post, the switch from INK to HATN happened without any action needed from users.
Is described as the practical rollout of the project's Attention-Token Economic Model (ATEM), a framework first introduced in its research paper titled "From Labour to Attention".
The post explained that users can make up to four claims per UTC day, each carrying a different reward multiplier on top of a 5 base claim.
Claim | Multiplier |
Basic Claim | 1.0x |
Claim 2 | 1.1x |
Claim 3 | 1.3x |
Claim 4 | 1.5x |
Each additional claim in a day is meant to reward greater participation. Referral rewards are set at 10 per cent manually claimed, though vacation-day credits, burns, and other reward types are not counted toward that referral total.
The shift from INK to HATN changes more than the token name. Based on what the project has confirmed officially, the reward structure itself moves from passive daily engagement to a tiered, claim-based system.
Feature | INK Mining (Ended) | HATN Mining (Live) |
Reward model | Earned through daily engagement and activities | Manual claims with multipliers, up to 4 per UTC day |
Reward tiers | Not specified | 1.0x to 1.5x across four claims |
Base reward | Not disclosed officially | 5 token per basic claim |
App requirement | Official app | Official app, version 1.3.22 or later |
Current status | Mining ended; distribution pending | Live and ongoing |
Note: Where official data on INK's reward mechanics is not available, this is marked rather than estimated, in line with using official sources only.
cPen Network asked to update to app version 1.3.22.
The post confirmed that the project currently works only through the official cPen app on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store and is not yet available through the APK or web versions.
While token mining has stopped, the post said token distribution is only beginning. cPen Network outlined a three-step process:
A two-week grace period for users to complete KYC (Know Your Customer) and liveness verification.
Token verification begins once the grace period ends.
Tokens are distributed in phases after verification is complete.
The project asked users to finish their KYC and liveness checks during the grace period and confirm their wallet address is correct.
The end of token mining marks a shift for cPen Network toward its HATN-based attention model, while token holders now move into a verification and distribution phase rather than an active mining one.
