ETHNile 2025 in Kampala is set to make history as Uganda’s first Ethereum-focused community event, taking place in Kampala. ETHNile’s theme reflects the Nile’s role as the lifeline of Africa and the birthplace of flow and connection. Just as the river nourishes communities from its source, ETHNile will channel innovation, creativity, and collaboration from Uganda to the global blockchain ecosystem. The focus is on empowering African builders to design Ethereum-based solutions with real-world impact from financial inclusion to sustainability and governance.

ETHNile 2025 will deliver a vibrant 5-day experience, featuring:

• City Tour to the Source of the Nile (Jinja) – A symbolic journey connecting the event’s theme with Uganda’s cultural and natural heritage.

• Side Events During ETHNile Week – Community meetups, workshops, and partner events across Kampala leading up to the main program.

• Hackathon & Demo Sessions – Builders will collaborate on Ethereum-powered solutions tackling real African challenges, with opportunities to present projects in live demo sessions.

ETHNile 2025 in Kampala is organized by local Web3 community leaders including Mukunde Brisa, Ahimbisibwe Brian, Shidi Abraham and Elias Hezron Opio.
