Solana Students Africa 2025: Ignite the Next Generation of Blockchain Builders

About the Event & Organizer

The Solana Students Africa 2025 event is a continent-wide initiative aiming to ignite Blockchain Innovation literacy among young Africans through hands-on engagement with the Solana ecosystem. It brings together university students, developers, educators, and blockchain enthusiasts from across Africa to participate in workshops, hackathons, and project development tracks. The intention is to build real solutions on Solana’s infrastructure—whether they are in Decentralized Finance, Web3 education, social impact, or other domains—allowing participants to gain mentorship, collaborate across borders, and deepen their understanding of how blockchain can drive transformation in their communities.

The grand finale is on October 4, 2025, at the University of Lagos, Nigeria. Here, winning teams will showcase their projects, meet key guests, and celebrate innovative ideas.

The event is run by a team led by Tobiloba Adedeji and Opeyemi Stephen, with support from partners like Luma. Right now, more than 300 people have already said they plan to attend.
