November opens with $PI coin trading at $0.0774 and a calendar full of dates that could shape its direction. US midterm elections arrive tomorrow. The first Pi Network ecosystem summit follows on 17 November.
Pi Network News this month will be about proof: market mood first, then real app use. Each event has its own reason to matter, and its own limits.
Pi Network price today as of November 2, per CoinMarketCap official:

Pi Coin price: $0.07741, up 0.12% in 24 hours
Market cap: $877.36M, rank #64
24-hour volume: $3.02M, up 26.45%
Fully diluted value: $7.74B
Circulating supply: 11.33B of 100B $PI
The token slid overnight to about $0.0761, then jumped near $0.0786 before settling. Only about 11% of Pi’s 100 billion supply circulates, so the fully diluted value is nearly nine times the market cap. Put simply, much of $PI’s value rests on future supply and future use. That is why November’s events matter more than a 0.12% daily move.
On 3 November, all 435 House seats and 35 Senate seats were up for election, according to the official US vote note. The result will shape Congress and the policy signals for crypto rules in the year ahead.
Markets are already cautious, based on CoinMarketCap data:

Bitcoin price: $78,012.12, down 2.41% over seven days
Total market cap: $2.62T
Fear and Greed index: 37, in the fear zone
ETF flows: outflows of $788.70M
Research note by analyst Ali Martinez says crypto/ BTC prices often swing before midterm votes and calm once results are clear. That is a past pattern, not a promise. For Pi, a small float may follow the wider mood in crypto news today, and recent developer news has barely moved the chart.
Pi Network news today also covers four developer tools, outlined on the developer platform blog:
Developer Portal: domains, API keys, wallets and privacy settings in one flow
BlockExplorer: price history for Launchpad Testnet tokens
SoloHost skill: AI assistants can package apps for Pi Desktop
PiVerify: identity checks that outside businesses can use
Before this, Protocol 28 also went live on October 16, followed by the Pi Desktop 0.6.4 update on October 22. Several partnerships were also announced during this 2026 growth phase. However, these Pi Network upgrades save builders time inside the Pi Network ecosystem, but none is a price trigger.
PI stablecoins are the open item. The Core Team’s 8 October post says $PI stays the main coin, with any stablecoin in a smaller role. No launch date exists.

Each Pi Network upgrade removes a step between an idea and a live app inside the Pi Network ecosystem. The Pi desktop update may matter most, since packaging repeats with every release.
The first Pi Network ecosystem summit runs online from 17 to 19 November, per the official announcement. The agenda lists platform releases, live demos, app showcases, talks with the Core Team and a new hackathon.
The team cites more than 60 million engaged Pioneers, over 300 Mainnet apps and 18.1 million KYC-verified users, though all three figures are self-reported. The latest Pi Network news from the Core Team stresses demos and a hackathon, but daily app use is the real test.
Tomorrow’s vote will test market mood, and 17 November will test the builders. Pi Network latest news after 19 November will show whether apps that Pioneers open daily have appeared. If they have, Pi Network News will finally have fundamentals to follow.
