Altcoin Strength Builds as Bitcoin Loses Market Grip

There are signs that altcoins are gearing up for a strong run as Bitcoin (BTC) dominance reveals cracks, as seen in the past. The interplay between Total3, which includes the total market cap excluding Bitcoin, Ethereum, BTC.D, and gold, suggests capital may rotate into other crypto soon.

Analyst CryptoELiTES showed Total3 consolidating at a significant inflection zone, forming a base that echoes previous cycles when the alt market cap broke out after extended equilibrium. Meanwhile, BTC dominance is reducing, as the structure suggests a potential rotation into alts, triggering a new phase to the upside. The symmetry in past cycles gives this technical thesis weight.

Furthermore, altcoins’ relative strength will increase amid weakening Bitcoin dominance. This suggests that a breakout in Total3 could be the technical signal traders anticipate.

If the pattern holds, lower-cap assets may aim for a 2× to 4× move from current levels over several months. A conservatively realistic zone lies between $1.5T and $2.5T in Total3 market cap before exciting targets.
