Altcoin Market Breaks $1.13T as New Cycle Begins

The crypto market is showing signs of a rebirth with multiple chart indications of an Altseason in 2025. Analysts have also identified breakout patterns, reversal bullish momentum, and cyclical patterns of past rallies. Capital is currently moving into other assets after the halving of Bitcoin, which could trigger the next phase of crypto growth.

In recent weeks, sentiment has shifted positively, with traders reporting new strength throughout the Total altcoin cap. This increasing stability, along with the tightening chart formation, suggests the ecosystem could be in another accumulation-to-expansion stage, an arrangement prior to crypto rallies.

Analyst CryptoELiTES pointed out that the Total3 market cap, excluding Bitcoin and Ethereum, has broken out of a long-term cup and handle structure. As observed in major rallies of the past, this formation signifies the transition from accumulation to a breakout. The rounded base indicates that buying pressure is even, but the breakout over the level of $1.13 trillion indicates that buyers are gaining control. The move, if sustained, has the potential to ignite a powerful multi-month rally in the history of the altcoins.

Furthermore, the breakout aligns with a rise in liquidity across decentralized finance (DeFi), AI tokens, and gaming assets. These sectors have shown a surge in network activity and investor participation. As often noted, when these segments strengthen in unison, the market tends to follow.

Strengthening Momentum and RSI Confirmation

Additionally, analyst Ash Crypto added that the total market cap remains supported by a long-term ascending trendline dating back to 2019. All significant re-tests of this diagonal support have led to an upward momentum. On the RSI, a multi-year symmetrical triangle is developing, which is a common pattern before strong breakouts. RSI hovering near 69 indicates controlled bullishness in the market with a signal of a rally.

Meanwhile, analyst Danny noted the Altcoins-to-Bitcoin ratio, showing that capital rotation phases are cyclical. The statistics forecast that the approaching Altcoin Cycle III could give 175x returns, as historically recorded. This parabolic run highlights how capital outflow from Bitcoin into smaller assets is encouraged by BTC stability.

Notably, if the breakout holds above $1.13T and volume is validated, altcoins could breakout heading into early 2026.  Traders are watching for the next liquidity surge as capital shifts from Bitcoin to high-potential tokens.
