Bittensor is building a decentralized network for machine learning, where value flows to the subnets actually doing the work, and that story has kept TAO firmly on watchlists all year.
This Bittensor Price Prediction breaks down exactly where the coin stands today and what could come next, pulling together the chart, the liquidation data, and what traders are actively watching right now.
If you've been sitting on the sidelines wondering whether this is the moment to pay attention, stick around, because the next few sections lay it all out.

Sentiment on social media reflects the same range-bound picture the chart shows.
One widely shared trader post described TAO as stuck around the $192 mark, noting that $190 has repeatedly held as a defended level while a liquidity pocket sits above in the $200 to $220 zone.

The view was that a pickup in volume could pull the price up toward that pocket, with $220 flagged as the level worth watching next.
That lines up with the chart's own EMA resistance at $205.54 and the broader theme: TAO needs fresh volume to move out of its current range in either direction.
Liquidation activity has been light and mostly one-sided over the past day. The last hour saw $91.16 in liquidations, all on the long side.
Over 4 hours, total liquidations reached $5.23K, split between $531.51 in longs and $4.70K in shorts.
Over 12 hours, liquidations totaled $9.74K, with $1.35K in longs and $8.38K in shorts.

Over 24 hours, total liquidations reached $75.22K, but here the pattern flips: $65.67K of that came from long positions against just $9.55K in shorts, pointing to a cluster of leveraged longs getting flushed out at some point in the last day even as the price ended the period higher.
Futures trading volume is concentrated on two exchanges: MEXC ($63.34M) and Binance ($50.42M) together account for the large majority of activity.
Behind them, Bybit ($14.66M), WhiteBIT ($15.22M), BingX ($13.25M), OKX ($8.07M), Bitunix ($6.93M), KuCoin ($5.69M), Bitget ($5.43M), Gate ($4.86M), LBank ($3.58M), and Hyperliquid ($2.98M) make up the rest.
The spread across a dozen venues, with MEXC and Binance dominant, suggests the current price action isn't isolated to one thin order book.

The daily chart shows TAO creating out a symmetric triangle since the April peak: a descending line connecting the lower highs at $320.09, $272.10, and $239.11 on one side, and a rising line connecting the higher lows on the other.
That triangle peak was reached around late July, and the price broke down out of it rather than breaking higher, which is the move now playing out.
Since the breakdown, TAO has been consolidating in a tight band roughly between $192 and $197, sitting right on top of the 20 EMA at $195.33, with the 50 EMA at $205.54 still overhead and acting as resistance.
The most recent daily candle is running at $196.25, and the RSI (14) sits at 48.93, right in neutral territory, showing the consolidation hasn't picked a clear direction yet.
If the price holds the $195 consolidation base, then there is a chance it can reverse and clear the EMA levels, holding and breaking the upper resistance levels of 239 and 272. If the price breaks down the consolidation, then the lower levels are the downside support.
Level Type | Price |

TAO price target 2026 Bull case: Holding above the defended $190 to $192 zone and reclaiming the EMA cluster near $195.33 to $205.54 would support the idea that the triangle breakdown was a shakeout rather than the start of a deeper decline.
A confirmed move through $220 and the nearest resistance at $239.11 would open the door toward $272.10.
TAO price target 2026 Bear case: A break below $190 and the first support at $164.25 would confirm the triangle breakdown is following through, keeping the longer-term structure bearish.
Losing $141.79 would expose the structural floor at $125.21.
$239.11 is the nearest marked resistance above the current price.
Reaching it would first require TAO to clear the EMA cluster near $195.33 to $205.54 and the $200 to $220 liquidity zone, and next $272.10 resistance to reach the $320.09 level traders are already watching, making it a multi-step move rather than a single leg higher.
A rejection at the EMA cluster or the $200 to $220 zone, followed by a close back below $190, would put any recovery attempt in question.
A deeper break below the confirmed support at $164.25, and eventually the deeper support at $141.79, would undermine the bullish case entirely and put the structural floor at $125.21 back in play.
According to CoinGabbar analysts, the triangle breakdown puts the near-term structure on the defensive, but the follow-through has been muted so far: price is holding just above $190 rather than accelerating lower, and the last 24 hours of liquidations were dominated by longs getting flushed rather than a fresh wave of short-side aggression.
RSI sitting near 49 backs up the read that this is a genuine pause rather than a trend in either direction.
The $190 to $205 zone is the key battleground: holding it keeps the door open for a retest of the $220 to $239 liquidity pocket, while losing it would confirm the triangle breakdown is still playing out.
