XRP Price Prediction: Will Bulls Defend the Key $1.06 Support Zone

XRP Price Prediction

XRP is sitting at a make-or-break spot. The token is trading close to $1.06, right where a symmetrical triangle pattern is squeezing tighter on the daily chart.

At the same time, real-world asset (RWA) activity on the XRP Ledger is quietly growing, even as leverage in the futures market keeps shrinking.

This mix of rising ledger use and falling risk appetite is worth watching closely. Here is what the numbers say about where XRP could go next.

Is XRP's RWA growth actually helping the price?

Ripple's tokenized asset push is gaining some real traction. The number of RWA holders on the XRP Ledger climbed 25.16% over the past month.

The total value of these represented assets also grew, rising 2% to reach $4.06 billion. Ripple has also disclosed new investments in two companies that are meant to strengthen the ledger's infrastructure.

This kind of steady, behind-the-scenes growth does not usually move price fast. But it does build a longer-term case for the network, separate from short-term chart action.XRP LEDGER RWA pUSH

What do futures and open interest say about XRP right now?

XRP futures volume sat near $1.35 billion, and total derivatives open interest was around $2.27 billion at the time of writing, according to CoinGlass data. Price on the platform was near $1.067.

Volume fell 4.36% over 24 hours, while open interest stayed almost flat, down just 0.01%. When price drops and open interest does not rise, it usually means traders are closing out positions rather than piling on fresh short bets.

That can lower the risk of a sudden, large liquidation event. It does not mean spot buyers are stepping in with force, though.

A separate CryptoQuant read found open interest had dropped to a six-month range low, sitting between 362 million and 369 million. The estimated leverage ratio slipped toward 0.139 to 0.142, near the lowest point of that stretch.

CryptoQuant contributor CryptoOnchain noted funding stayed in a narrow band, roughly between negative 0.0024 and positive 0.010, during the recent decline.

Long and short liquidations traded off rather than triggering a one-sided flush, which the analyst read as a positioning reset rather than forced capitulation.

Why did XRP's network value fall faster than its usage?

Network valuation cooled off faster than actual on-chain activity. The network value to transactions (NVT) ratio dropped 42.7% compared with its three-month average, while transaction count fell a smaller 23.3%.

This gap suggests the market may have gotten ahead of itself on valuation and is now correcting. It is not, on its own, a reliable signal for timing a bottom.

Are XRP whales still moving big money?

Whale activity on the XRP Ledger has cooled off sharply. Transactions worth more than $1 million dropped from 70 over the past week to just 2 today.

Spot flow data from CoinGlass also showed a net outflow of about $2.94 million on August 5. That said, recent outflows are much smaller than the sharp spikes seen in late 2025, hinting that selling pressure has eased, even if it has not flipped positive yet.

XRP price levels to watch this week

Scenario

Key Level

Next Targets

Bullish (hold $1.06)

Above $1.06

$1.35, then $1.64

Bullish breakout

Close above $1.15

$1.20, $1.30-$1.35, $1.45-$1.50

Bearish (lose $1.06)

Below $1.06

$0.80, then $0.62

Bearish breakdown

Break below $1.03

$1.00, $0.95, $0.90

The altcoin is currently holding in the $1.03 to $1.05 support zone, with resistance stacked up near $1.12 to $1.15. The price is compressing near the tip of the triangle, which often comes before a sharp move in either direction.

A daily close above $1.15 with strong volume would strengthen the case for a bullish breakout. A close below $1.03 would open the door to more downside instead.XRP/USDT PRICE CHART

The bottom line for traders

Right now, XRP looks like a market catching its breath. Leverage is thin, whale activity has slowed, and the triangle pattern is nearing its apex.

Ledger fundamentals, like RWA growth, offer a longer-term positive backdrop. But near-term price action will likely hinge on whether $1.06 holds as support, and whether volume returns to confirm a breakout in either direction.

Traders should watch the $1.03 and $1.15 levels closely over the coming sessions, since a decisive move past either one could set the tone for XRP's next leg.
