Stacks is getting a lot of attention right now. STX is trading near $0.39, and talk about the token is rising fast.
The price is up 3.61% in 24 hours to $0.3931. Bitcoin, meanwhile, moved lower over the same period.
The next big test is a long-term resistance zone near $0.45.
The main push looks coin-specific. On Oct. 6, founder Muneeb Ali shared plans to move all intellectual property to the network's endowment. He also promised to explain how Bitcoin bonds create value for $STX.
Ali is also becoming CEO of Stacks Labs. Alex Miller, who ran the company as interim CEO, moves into an advisory role.
The company says its focus now shifts to adoption, after Bitcoin staking went live.
Data from Santiment shows a sharp jump in STX social dominance on Oct. 7. The reading reached about 0.401%.
Most of the six-month chart sits below 0.07%. So this is not a small bump. It is far above earlier peaks.
Higher social activity can mean more people are watching. It does not always mean more people are buying.
The Genesis Bond opened on Sept. 10 with four institutions: UTXO Management, Sypher Capital, 21Shares, and HashKey. Weekly BTC rewards started on Sept. 17.
Participants bonded 230 BTC along with 3.57 million $STX. That created direct demand for the token.
Anchorage Digital also added institutional custody for self-custodial Bitcoin staking on Sept. 24.
Bonding Period 2 is set to open around Oct. 10 with 500 BTC of capacity. That is more than double the first round. StackingDAO has the largest share, with Xverse and 21Shares also taking part.
Trading activity is picking up. Data from CoinGlass shows the market is mixed, not one-sided.

A ratio below 1 across the whole market points to slightly more shorts. Binance traders lean long, while OKX traders lean short. Binance top traders also lean long.

STX has climbed from the $0.12 to $0.15 bottom in August. It has made higher highs and higher lows since then. Price sits above the 20, 50, 100 and 200-day EMAs.
The first test is $0.40 to $0.41. Sellers have already shown up there, close to the upper Bollinger Band.
Level | What It Means |
$0.4082 | First resistance |
$0.4275 | Next upside target |
$0.4550 | Key level to watch |
$0.4769 | Top of resistance zone |
$0.50 | Psychological level |
$0.52 to $0.56 | Higher breakout area |
A daily close above $0.41, followed by a retest, would give stronger proof of a new leg up. A close above $0.4550 could open the way toward $0.47 to $0.48.
A hold above $0.50 would strengthen the medium-term reversal. Some traders would then watch $0.52 to $0.56. Above $1 is the next target.
These are scenarios, not promises.
Daily RSI sits between the high 60s and about 70, depending on the source. That is close to overbought.
It does not mean a drop is coming. But it raises the chance of a pause or a small pullback after such a quick run.
The first support zone is $0.37 to $0.35. It overlaps with short-term moving averages and the recent breakout area.
Support Level | What It Means |
$0.37 to $0.35 | First support zone |
$0.347 | Warning level on a daily close below |
$0.32 to $0.30 | Deeper pullback, recovery still alive |
$0.30 to $0.29 | Bullish structure weakens |
$0.26 to $0.25 | Possible retest area |
If buyers step in near $0.35, the higher-low pattern stays in place. A daily close under $0.347 would be an early warning.
The picture is mixed for Stack price prediction. Price action is bullish, and news is supportive. But the social spike is huge, and spikes often cool off fast.
Bonding Period 2 around Oct. 10 may be the next real test. If more BTC and STX flow in, demand could hold up. If not, the move may fade.
Traders will likely watch the $0.41 close first.
