South Korea crypto news today centers on the Upbit Collector Crypt listing. Upbit says CARDS trading starts today, November 5, as long as liquidity holds up.

The official notice went up, and it adds Collector Crypt to the KRW, BTC, and USDT markets. Deposits and withdrawals open within about one hour.
Detail | Information |
Markets | KRW, BTC, USDT |

Deposits and withdrawals | Within about 1 hour of notice |
Trading starts. | Nov 5, 2026, |
Deposits through any other network are not supported. Trading can be postponed if liquidity stays too thin after deposits open. Trade-limit prices will follow CoinMarketCap data, according to the notice.
The exchange also shared the schedule in a post on X, naming the same three markets.

Collector Crypt is a real-world asset platform for graded collectibles, mainly Pokémon, One Piece, and sports cards. Users place PSA, CGC, or Beckett graded cards in insured vaults.
The platform then mints an NFT tied to that exact card. The holder can trade the NFT on-chain or burn it to receive the physical card. The model sits within the wider push toward real-world asset tokenization.
The Gacha tool sells randomized graded-card packs at fixed prices, from $25 to $1,000, paid in USDC or SOL. According to the project, instant buyback offers range from about 85% to 90% of a card’s value, depending on the pack.
Upbit is described as South Korea’s largest crypto exchange by volume. A KRW pair gives local users a direct fiat route into the token, while BTC and USDT pairs serve crypto-funded traders.
Early trading after the Upbit Collector Crypt listing can swing fast, and a new pair does not guarantee price gains. The Solana-only rule also keeps the token tied to the wider Solana ecosystem.
Only 2 billion CARDS will ever exist, according to the tokenomics page. The token launched on August 29, 2025, through the Metaplex Genesis Launch Pool.
At the time of writing, CoinMarketCap showed the price near $0.28, with a market cap of about $116 million on roughly 415 million circulating tokens. At the 2 billion cap, that price implies a fully diluted value near $559 million.
The project cites more than $1 billion in cumulative pack sales, a self-reported number. Sales volume is not revenue. DefiLlama lists $34.75 million in gross protocol revenue for Q3 2026, the latest full quarter.
Team, seed and advisor tokens vest on-chain through Streamflow, and vesting runs into 2027. Future token unlocks can add supply to the market.
CARDS is a utility token, not a claim on the physical card treasury or company equity. The contract address is CARDSccUMFKoPRZxt5vt3ksUbxEFEcnZ3H2pd3dKxYjp.
Use only the Solana network and match the contract address with the one in the notice. Verify it on Solscan before moving any funds.
Liquidity is the second risk. The notice itself says trading can be delayed, and thin order books can move prices sharply.
Exchange listings can bring a burst of early volume, but they say little about where the price goes next.
The Upbit Collector Crypt listing widens access for Korean users. It does not change the token’s utility-only design or its vesting schedule. Verify every figure on the official pages before acting.
