Zcash is having a moment. Grayscale's Zcash ETF has pulled in about $179 million in under two weeks, top 1% among nearly 4,000 ETPs, per BSCN.
A single wallet just added $41.6 million in $ZEC straight off exchanges in six days, Onchain Lens reports, and the buying hasn't stopped.
With $ZEC already up close to 8,000% since 2024, this Zcash price prediction asks whether the crowd chasing it now is too late or right on time.
Market data was checked on September 12, 2026, based on the chart and liquidation snapshots timestamped around 10:01 (UTC).

4h | $1.50M | $1.39M | $107.16K |

Over the full 24 hours, shorts took the bigger hit as $ZEC ran higher. But the more recent 1h, 4h, and 12h windows flipped, with longs now absorbing most of the pain, a sign the rally is cooling into the current pullback (data via Coinglass).
Grayscale's Zcash ETF has become the fastest-growing altcoin ETP by net asset growth, ranking in the top 1% of nearly 4,000 ETPs across crypto, commodities, equities, and fixed income, according to BSCN.

Grayscale Research says Bitcoin miners earn roughly $35 million a day versus about $2 million a day for Zcash miners but argues Zcash mining is still roughly twice as profitable per rig and about four times more profitable per megawatt hour.

Zcash network mining power has also climbed sharply into September 2026. CoinGabbar could not independently verify Grayscale's profitability estimate.
A whale wallet has accumulated 36.36K $ZEC, worth roughly $41.6 million, from Binance, OKX, Kraken, and Gate over the past six days, according to Onchain Lens, with another 6.52K ZEC withdrawn from exchanges in a recent 15-minute window and buying still active.

ZEC trades at $1,133.20, sitting just under a Fibonacci extension cluster after a sharp multi-week rally.
RSI reads 47.46 to 49.34, in neutral territory and cooling from recent highs rather than overbought.
The key to watch is whether the price holds the trendline or breaks below it, which could determine the next move.
Level Type | Price |
Resistance 3 (2.618 extension) | $1,592.74 |
Resistance 2 | $1,232.69 |
Resistance 1 (nearest, 1.618 extension) | $1,157.45 |
Immediate Price Reference | $1,133.20 |
First Confirmed Support | $1,000.89 |
Deeper Support (1.0 fib) | $888.43 |
Structural Floor (0.786 fib) | $795.28 |
Bull case: Holding above the $1,000.89 support and clearing the EMA cluster near $1,108 to $1,153 would keep ZEC on track for the $1,157.45 and $1,232.69 resistance zones, with ETF inflows and ongoing whale accumulation adding fuel.
Bear case: A break below $1,000.89 would expose $888.43 and put the recent breakout in question.
Rising long liquidations over the past few hours, alongside RSI slipping under 50, suggest momentum is fading even as the ETF and whale narrative stays bullish, so a deeper pullback toward $795.28 can't be ruled out if that support fails.
Scenario | Trigger | Likely Outcome | Invalidation Point |
EMA reclaim | Close above $1,153.30 | Push toward $1,232.69 | Rejection back below $1,108.31 |
Support hold | Bounce from $1,000.89 | Range continues into resistance | Close below $1,000.89 |
Support breakdown | Close below $1,000.89 | Slide toward $888.43 | Reclaim of $1,000.89 |
$1,592.74 is the highest resistance marked on the chart, the 2.618 Fibonacci extension.
Getting there would need $ZEC to first clear $1,157.45 and $1,232.69, then hold above both before the extension becomes realistic, not a single move.
The trader pointed out on X that $ZEC ran from about $16 to around $1,294 in 25 months, nearly an 8,000% gain, and suggested the next 80x mover in crypto could already be trading quietly while most people are looking elsewhere.
Note: CoinGabbar could not independently verify this forward-looking claim, and it isn't investment advice.
According to CoinGabbar analysts, ETF inflows and whale accumulation are the clearest bullish signals right now, but the recent shift toward long liquidations and a softening RSI show the rally is due for a pause.
The $1,000.89 to $1,157.45 zone is the level to watch this week.
