Avalanche says Aave V4 deposits on its network topped $125 million, an all-time high. How much comes from a payments app's leveraged savings product?
This Aave V4 Avalanche deposits report uses Ethena Pay's Earn+ launch note and Aave's own notices and assessments. It's dated November 3, 2026.

A deposit record isn't proof of safety.
Avalanche's post says Ethena Pay's new Earn+ is helping fuel the growth. It doesn't say how much of the $125 million comes from Earn+.
Earn+ launched on October 28 with a $4.5 million cap across all users. At 11x, each $1 of user money supports about $11 of deposits. That implies up to $49.5 million, or about 40% of the record, if the cap hasn't changed.
Item | Figure | Source type |
Avalanche V4 deposits | $125M+ | Avalanche post |
Earn+ initial cap | $4.5M | Ethena Pay launch note |
Implied gross at 11x | $49.5M | Arithmetic |
All V4 deposits, October | $1.5B+ | Aave Labs update |
So Avalanche is about 8% of V4's total, though the dates differ.
Earn+ is an optional product. Deposits go to an external vault run by Upshift and managed by Steakhouse. Aave says it doesn't operate, curate or manage the vault.
The vault supplies USDe as collateral, borrows USDT, buys more USDe and repeats. Both are dollar-pegged tokens. Leverage means borrowing to enlarge a position, and the target is about 11x.
Ethena Pay advertises up to 12% APY. That's a target, not a guarantee, and Earn+ isn't an insured bank deposit.
At 11x, about $10 is borrowed per $1 of your money. A 9.1% fall in collateral value would erase your equity, before fees.
Each 1-point rise in the USDT borrow rate costs about 10 points of return. It's arithmetic, not a forecast.
This Aave V4 Avalanche deposits check lists the documented risks:
Risk | What's documented |
Price feed | Aave values USDe through a capped USDT feed, so a USDe-only discount may not register |
Exit | Redeeming USDe from Avalanche needs bridging to Ethereum and Ethena's permissioned process |
Withdrawals | Paid within 24 hours, but may take longer; Upshift's owner multisig can reportedly pause them |
Aave's governance assessment notes the direct USDe price feed carries medium risk and has strayed from the peg twice. That's why the USDT feed is used.
None of this shows a depeg or a liquidation. It's a design risk you should understand before using any one-tap yield product.

AAVE's token price was $125.30 on November 3, down 6.92% in 24 hours. That's a different measure from $125 million in deposits.
This Aave V4 Avalanche deposits review finds a real record and an unexplained Earn+ share. The 11x loop magnifies gains and losses, and the cap implies Earn+ explains at most about 40%.
Ask who manages the vault, how the price feed behaves under stress and how withdrawals work. Do that before relying on any headline yield.
