Crypto gaming platform Maczo has announced a major change to its account process and promotional strategy. The company no longer requires identity documents for standard play or withdrawals and will reduce broad bonus campaigns in order to preserve more budget for genuine players.
The update gives Maczo a clear position in the crypto gaming market: a no-document onboarding journey supported by blockchain-based risk controls, combined with a shift away from promotions that mainly attract short-term bonus hunters.
Maczo has made two connected changes.
First, users are not required to upload a passport, national ID or similar identity document as part of the standard experience. The policy applies to playing and withdrawals.
Second, Maczo is reducing mass promotions. The company says it prefers to direct more resources toward active players and the underlying product rather than accounts created only to capture a one-time reward.
The changes are intended to simplify onboarding, reduce the amount of sensitive information handled by the platform and improve the sustainability of player rewards.
How no-KYC works on the platform
The no-KYC policy removes routine identity-document checks. A user can create an account and use the platform without completing a traditional document review.
This does not remove the platform's basic rules. Users must still meet age and jurisdiction requirements, provide accurate registration information, use funds from lawful sources and maintain only one account.
Maczo's terms also place responsibility on users to protect their login information and ensure that activity under the account is authorized.
The policy should therefore be understood as no document-based KYC, not as an anonymous system without account obligations.

Security and AML controls remain active
The Maczo Help Center explains that the company continues to apply anti-money-laundering, sanctions and fraud controls.
Blockchain analytics are used to evaluate wallet addresses and transaction paths. Behavioral signals can identify unusual volume, coordinated accounts or activity inconsistent with normal use. Connections to sanctioned, criminal or known high-risk sources may be restricted, suspended or rejected.
Withdrawals are intended for wallets controlled by the account owner, while third-party payments are not supported.
This risk-based system allows ordinary users to avoid routine document requests while giving the platform tools to respond to suspicious activity.

Why Maczo is reducing mass promotions
Large bonuses are widely used to acquire new players, but they can create expensive side effects.
A promotion may attract multiple-account activity, low-risk wagering designed solely to satisfy requirements or users who leave immediately after receiving the reward. Operators often respond by adding complex conditions that affect everyone, including legitimate players.
Maczo is choosing a different approach. The company will accept a smaller volume of promotion-driven registrations and preserve more of the budget for people who stay and use the platform.
Promotions may still exist, but the strategy favors selective and understandable offers over continuous bonus escalation.
What the new strategy means for players
The most immediate benefit is a shorter onboarding journey. Users do not need to prepare identity documents or wait for routine verification before they can use the service.
Players may also see fewer large, broadly available promotions. Maczo's argument is that the value should move from the size of a sign-up headline to the quality of the ongoing experience.
That places more responsibility on the company. Game performance, support, security, transparent rules and transaction reliability must demonstrate where the preserved budget is being used.
The strategy will succeed only if genuine players can see a practical benefit beyond the removal of a document form.
