XDAO has rolled out a new update, and this one directly affects whether or not the airdrop reaches you. The team has officially launched the Solana wallet collection phase. Through the XDAO ton bot mini app, participants can now submit their Solana wallet address, which is a required step to receive tokens at the time of the airdrop claim.
One thing to understand right away: there is no claim happening yet. Right now, XDAO is only collecting Solana wallet addresses. The actual token claim will happen later, closer to the TGE (Token Generation Event). But without submitting your Solana address now, the tokens simply will not have anywhere to go when that time comes.
The XDAO airdrop is tied to a multi-network token launch, with Solana being one of the key chains included. The team needs to know your non-custodial Solana address ahead of time so your profile is ready when the snapshot is finalized and distribution begins.
Submitting the address is completely free. No gas fee, no transaction, nothing. The gas fee only applies later, during the actual onchain token claim, which is standard blockchain mechanics.
XDAO specifically requires a non-custodial wallet. This is important to understand before you proceed.
A non-custodial wallet is one where only you hold the private keys. Your access is controlled by a seed phrase that only you store, and no exchange, platform, or third party, including XDAO, can access it. Think of it as being your own bank.
This is the opposite of a custodial vault, like your account on Binance or Bybit. On exchanges, the platform holds the keys on your behalf. That means you cannot fully control the assets, and more importantly for this airdrop, you cannot claim tokens to such an address.
The other side of this is responsibility. If you lose your seed phrase, there is no way to recover the vault. Write it down and store it somewhere safe, and never share it with anyone.
Any non-custodial Solana vault will work for this. The team has listed three trusted options that work as both browser extensions and mobile apps:
Phantom: Available at phantom.com/download. Works on Chrome, Brave, Firefox, and Edge browsers, and on iOS and Android.
Solflare: Available at solflare.com/download. Works on both browser and mobile.
Backpack: Available at backpack.app. Works on browser and mobile.
Download wallets only from the official websites listed above or from official app stores like the Chrome Web Store, App Store, or Google Play. Phishing sites that mimic these wallets are common, so always verify the URL before downloading anything.
If you already use a different vault not on this list, you can test it yourself quickly. Open Jupiter (jup.ag), press Connect Wallet, select your wallet, and check that it connects without errors, shows your address, and displays your SOL balance. If it passes that check, it is ready. If it fails to connect or does not display a Solana address, pick one from the list above instead.
One important note for the test: only connect the vault, do not sign or confirm any transactions. A legitimate compatibility check does not require signing anything.
The process is straightforward and takes just a couple of minutes.
Step 1: Open the official XDAO mini app on Telegram, or through the link t.me/xdao_ton_app/.
Step 2: In the bottom panel, find the Airdrop section.
Step 3: Connect your TON vault the same one you linked earlier during the educational campaign in @tonxdao_bot or @xdao_ton_bot.
Step 4: Paste the address of your non-custodial vault.
Step 5: Press Sign with TON & add vault and sign in.
That is the full process. No payment required at this stage.
Yes. If you link the wrong wallet or decide to switch to a different Solana address, you can update it any time by pressing the Change button inside the app.
However, once the final snapshot is taken, the address can no longer be changed. The exact snapshot date will be announced in advance through official XDAO channels, so keep your notifications on. XDAO confirmed there will be no sudden deadlines, but doing this sooner means you are not scrambling at the last moment before TGE.
One additional rule to note: a single Solana address can only be linked to one account. If you manage multiple accounts, each one needs its own separate wallet.
This was a concern raised by many in the community. If you lost access to your onchain TON wallet but your earned tokens from TONxDAO are tied to it, XDAO now has a solution. The team added a recovery option inside the bot that lets you submit a recovery request and link a new one using your Telegram ID directly in the bot.
Each recovery request is reviewed individually, so patience is needed. Once access is restored, keep in mind that to qualify for the full airdrop you still need to be one of the five GP members of an onchain DAO

The bot link will be shared only through XDAO's verified official channels their Telegram community and X. Never click bot links shared by unknown accounts in random Telegram groups.
XDAO will not ask for your seed phrase or private key at any point during this process. If a bot or message requests that, it is a scam. Always verify bot usernames against what is listed on the official XDAO website.
