Crypto mining usually brings to mind loud machines and heavy electricity bills. PLX Network skips all of that. It is a free crypto mining app for Android, built around mobile cloud mining, where remote servers do the heavy lifting instead of the phone.
This guide pulls the details from the official website and whitepaper into one place. It covers how sessions run, what shapes a miner’s rate, and where the project stands today.
Key Takeaways
Starting costs nothing. No hardware, no technical setup and no money are needed.
Mining runs in 24-hour sessions, and the rate depends on when a person joined, who they invited and who they mine with.
Total supply is capped at 1,000,000,000 PLX, with 55% reserved for mining rewards.
PLX Network is a community-first crypto project that starts with free mobile mining. The long-term plan reaches toward a wallet, payments and everyday apps built around a single PLX identity.
Sign-up takes only an email address. The platform does not ask for ID documents and says it does not sell user data.

In this model, a user starts a session on the phone and the project’s cloud infrastructure runs it. PLX is credited to the balance while the session is active.

The idea answers a common barrier. Many people stay away from mining because it seems to need expensive equipment and technical skill. Here, the app asks for neither.
Every session is handled by a Remote Mining Server (RMS). The user taps start in the app, and the server carries out the work in the cloud, so nothing heavy runs on the device.
Each mining session (24-hour session) follows its own progress cycle, shown as Session Progress on the dashboard. Once it ends, the next one begins. The streak, balance and network all carry forward from one session to the next.

The exact rate formula is published in the Technology & Consensus section of the PLX Network whitepaper.
A new miner can get going in five steps:
Install the app from Google Play.
Create an account using an email address.
Start the first session from the dashboard.
Claim the daily check-in reward in the Rewards tab.
Return after 24 hours and begin the next session.
Yes. The official site describes the app as having no hardware costs, no fees and no technical setup.
Free to join is not the same as guaranteed earnings, so the practical way to treat it is as a low-effort activity. A phone, an email address and a few minutes a day are all it asks for.
A miner’s hourly rate is made of several parts, and each one plays a different role.
Component | What it does |
Base rate | Set at sign-up and fixed permanently |
Permanent referral bonus | Small lasting bonus each time someone applies the miner’s code |
Active referral bonus | +0.03 PLX/hr for each currently active referral, with no cap |
Team boost | 1.2× with 3 active members and 1.5× with 5 |
2× Boost (planned) | Doubles the rate for one hour once released |
Session penalty | Lowers the rate after more than five inactive days and recovers as mining continues |
The base rate is the foundation. It is decided on the day an account is created and never changes after that. Everything else is added on top of it.
Timing matters more than anything else in the base rate. Accounts created before 1 May 2026 locked in 7.36 PLX/hr. The entry rate for newer accounts steps down over time, so early joiners keep a higher base for as long as they continue mining.
A username also works as a referral code. Each time someone applies it, the owner receives a small permanent bonus. On top of that, every referral who is currently mining adds +0.03 PLX/hr, and there is no cap on how many can count.
When a referred person goes inactive, that person’s contribution pauses until mining resumes. Teams work in a similar spirit. A multiplier applies when members mine at the same time, which rewards groups that stay active together.
The rate drops after more than five inactive days. The penalty is not permanent, though. It recovers as the miner returns to mining, so a short break does not erase progress.
A reward can be claimed once a day from the Rewards tab. It equals the streak day multiplied by 10 PLX.
Streak day | Reward |
Day 1 | 10 PLX |
Day 2 | 20 PLX |
Day 10 | 100 PLX |
A missed day sends the streak back to Day 1. The daily window resets at 12:00 AM UTC, which falls at 5:30 AM in India.
Total supply is hard-capped at 1,000,000,000 PLX. Of that, 55% (550,000,000 PLX) is set aside for mining rewards.
These PLX tokens reach users through mining sessions during a four-year phase that began on 1 May 2026. Releases follow a halving curve, so each year releases less than the year before. The curve controls the total pool released across the network. It does not change an individual miner’s rate.
The platform follows a one person, one account policy. Bots, scripts, emulators, multiple accounts and fake referrals are not allowed. Any of these can lead to restrictions or removed rewards.
Mining is only the starting point. The team is building a wider set of apps around one identity, and most of them are not live yet.

PLX Chain and the PLX-20 token standard are also in development, with public testing planned for Phase 3 of the roadmap. The whitepaper lays that roadmap out as four years in four phases, and the project currently sits in Phase 2.
PLX Network gives beginners a simple way to try crypto mining without buying equipment. The rate rules are public, the supply is capped, and the roadmap runs in clear phases. Anyone planning to join can read the full PLX Network whitepaper first and then decide how much time to give the app.
