Bitcoin Cash has been stuck in a slide for months, and the numbers show it this year alone has wiped out most of the gains from earlier cycles.
But the last few days look a little different. BCH is climbing back up toward the top of its descending channel, and volume has woken up along with it.
The question behind this Bitcoin Cash Price Prediction is whether this is the start of something real or just another attempt that runs out of steam at resistance.
BCH is trading at $214.42, up 1.93% over the last 24 hours. What makes this move worth a second look is the volume behind it.
24-hour volume sits at $101.36 million, up 39.14% on the day, which is a sharp jump relative to the price gain itself.
That kind of imbalance usually points to fresh interest coming in rather than a quiet drift higher.
Market cap now sits at $4.3 billion, with all 20.07 million circulating BCH accounted for against a 21 million supply.

Open interest on BCH futures has calmed down a lot compared to earlier this year.
It's currently sitting at $290.02 million, well off the highs near $600 million seen back in April, and has mostly stayed range-bound since June rather than falling further, a sign the big deleveraging is largely behind it.

Liquidations over the past 24 hours came to $71.71K, with shorts absorbing most of it at $57.79K against just $13.92K in longs. Shorts have taken the bigger hit across every shorter window too.
Positioning looks long-leaning on the surface, with the BCH/USDT ratio at 1.71 on Binance and 2.31 on OKX, and Binance's top traders even more skewed long by account count at 2.01.
But it's worth flagging one inconsistency: when you weigh those same top traders by position size rather than account count, the ratio actually drops to 0.88, meaning the biggest individual positions lean slightly short.
That's a bit of a mixed signal; plenty of accounts are long, but the largest bets aren't all pointed the same way. In volume, Binance leads comfortably at $38.97 million, with LBank and WhiteBIT both around $18M.

BCH has been carving out a descending channel since early July, and the price is now pushing up against the top of it near $214.
A daily close above this zone, followed by a retest where the old resistance holds as support, would be the clearest sign the structure is actually changing.
Until that happens, this is still an early test rather than a confirmed break. RSI backs up that caution, sitting at 46.99, just under the neutral 50 line.
On the upside, clearing $214 opens the door to $237.20, then $254.35, $269.40, and $293.66 further out. Lose this zone instead and $199.14 comes back into play, with $188.02 as the next support below that.

Scenario | Key Levels |
Bull Case | It holds above $214, clears $237.20, then $254.35, $269.40, and $293.66 open up |
Neutral Case | Stuck between $199.14 and $237.20 while the market waits for a confirmed close |
Bear Case | Drops back under $199.14, slips inside the old channel, $188.02 comes under pressure |
Price Performance Reflects a Market Still Seeking Direction
There's some short-term relief here; BCH is up 1.99% over the last 24 hours and 1.59% across the past week, right as buyers try to push through channel resistance.
But the broader picture hasn't really changed. Pull back a month and it's still down 11.29%. Stretch that further, and the numbers get uglier fast: 52.34% lower over 90 days and 59.05% over six months.
Year-to-date, BCH is down 64.19%, and it's still off more than 61% over the full year. So this bounce is real, but it's happening against a downtrend that's been running for a long time. This isn't confirmation of a reversal; it's an attempt at one.
The improving short-term momentum is worth noting, but until Bitcoin Cash actually closes above the descending channel and holds it, calling this a genuine trend reversal is still getting ahead of the story.
As per the Coingabbar analyst, the push toward channel resistance is worth watching, but it's not confirmed yet. A decisive close above $214, backed by continued volume, and a retest that holds as support would meaningfully strengthen this Bitcoin Cash Price Prediction
Until then, it stays an early recovery attempt against a much larger downtrend, and the split signal in futures positioning—long-leaning by account count but not by position size—suggests conviction is still building rather than settled.
