IOTA Real-World Adoption Update

Despite today's red candle, $IOTA had a genuinely strong headline overnight. According to a post from the Blockopedia, INCUCAI, the government authority behind every organ transplant in Argentina, has gone live on the $IOTA mainnet.

All 24 provincial agencies reportedly now run tamper-proof document signing that's publicly verifiable on-chain, built with Extrimian.

It's the kind of real-world, government-level adoption news that $IOTA has leaned on for years to differentiate itself from purely speculative Layer-1 projects.

So far, though, the market hasn't rewarded it, as the chart below shows.

IOTA Liquidation and Volume Data

$IOTA's futures liquidations, per Coinglass, are long-heavy beyond the 1h window: 1h shows $16.53 total, all short ($0 long); 4h shows $2.66K total ($2.64K long); 12h shows $3.71K total ($3.69K long); 24h shows $3.77K total ($3.72K long, $49.32 short). IOTA Liquidation and Volume Data

Leveraged longs have largely been the ones getting flushed as the price slid toward support.

On futures volume, BingX leads at $2.29M, followed by Binance ($2.08M) and LBank ($1.48M), with smaller volume across Bybit, OKX, Bitget, Gate, Bitunix, and MEXC.

This is separate from the $4.11M spot volume in the overview above.

IOTA Prediction Chart: Technical Analysis

Pair: $IOTA/USDT · Market: Spot (Crypto) · Timeframe: 1D · Source: TradingView · Timestamp: July 31, 2026, 14:10 UTC+5:30

$IOTA trades at $0.0320, breaking down out of a short-ascending channel it held during May and June, when the price traded roughly between $0.0450 and $0.0500.

That breakdown pushed the price into a sustained downtrend through June and into July.

Price briefly consolidated between two levels and EMA pairs during early-to-mid July before breaking below both: a lower zone at $0.0351 (resistance) with the EMA sitting just under it at $0.0349 and an upper zone at $0.0396 (resistance) with the EMA at $0.0391.

$IOTA now trades at $0.0320, below all four of these levels, which have flipped into overhead resistance.

If $IOTA fails to reclaim this zone, the next levels to watch sit well below the current price, at the Fibonacci extension supports.

If instead $IOTA reclaims the $0.0349–$0.0351 pair and holds, that would support a case for near-term stabilization.IOTA Prediction Chart Technical Analysis

The $0.0391 and $0.0349 EMA levels sit just under their respective $0.0396 and $0.0351 resistance lines, reinforcing both zones as resistance now that the price trades below them price structure is bearish.

IOTA Forecast August 2026: Bull Case vs. Bear Case

Bull case: If $IOTA reclaims $0.0351 and the $0.0349 EMA and holds above both, that opens the door to a retest of the upper $0.0396 resistance and its $0.0391 EMA.

Continued fundamental headlines like the INCUCAI mainnet rollout give the bull case a real-world adoption angle beyond the chart alone.

Bear case: A continued slide below $0.0320, with long-side liquidations persisting across the 4h, 12h, and 24h windows, would open room toward the Fibonacci 1.618 support at $0.0274.

If that fails, $0.0199 sits as the deeper Fibonacci 2.618 support.

Can $IOTA Reach the IOTA Price Target of $0.0396?

A move back to $0.0396 would require $IOTA to first reclaim the nearer $0.0351 resistance and its $0.0349 EMA and hold above both on a sustained basis.

That's a meaningful ask given the coin has been in a downtrend since the May-June breakdown.

What Could Invalidate the IOTA Bullish Forecast?

A confirmed daily close below $0.0320, combined with long-side liquidations continuing at the recent pace, would undercut any near-term recovery case and point toward a retest of the Fibonacci 1.618 support at $0.0274, with $0.0199 as the deeper level if the breakdown extends.

IOTA Short-Term Forecast: A Liquidation-Based Read

The shift from short-side liquidations in the 1h window to long-side liquidations dominating the 4h, 12h, and 24h windows, per Coinglass, suggests leveraged longs have been getting squeezed out through the day as price pressed toward support.

That's a cautionary signal for the near-term bull case, even with the positive INCUCAI adoption news in the background.

$IOTA Price Prediction Methodology

This forecast draws on multiple inputs rather than a single chart pattern: market structure around the May-June breakdown, the resistance and EMA levels on the daily chart, the shape of recent liquidation activity, and relevant real-world news flow. No single data point is treated as decisive on its own.

IOTA Price Prediction August 2026: Expert View

According to CoinGabbar analysts, $IOTA chart shows a coin still working through the aftermath of its May-June breakdown, with both the $0.0351/$0.0349 and $0.0396/$0.0391 resistance EMA pairs now sitting overhead.

The liquidation data adds a note of caution, with long positions taking the bulk of recent forced closures rather than shorts, even as the project lands a genuine real-world adoption win in Argentina.

The near-term question is whether $0.0320 holds, or whether the move extends toward the Fibonacci supports below.
