Solana Price Prediction:

Solana is holding steady near the $100 mark after a volatile week of trading. The Solana price prediction for this month is turning more bullish, with one analyst pointing to $150 as the next big target.

SOL was changing hands at $100.50 on September 3, gaining 1.44% over the previous 24 hours. Despite that daily bounce, the token is still down 4.82% for the week and has lost more than 37.23% of its value over the past month.

Even with that pullback, SOL has held above the $100 psychological level after climbing from around $80 earlier in its recent run. Meanwhile, the total crypto market cap rose 1.19% to $2.62 trillion as traders await fresh cues from the Federal Reserve.

Is Solana Price Bullish Right Now?

Crypto analyst Ali Martinez says Solana's market structure is shifting bullish. He believes traders who are still cautious on SOL may be missing an early entry point before the next move higher.

Martinez has flagged $150 as his next major target for Solana, but that call depends on SOL clearing nearby resistance and holding its recent breakout. Nothing here is a guarantee, and traders should treat it as one analyst's view rather than a sure outcome.

What Is Driving the Solana Price Prediction This Week?

A few different signals are shaping the current Solana price prediction. Some point higher, others suggest caution.

SOL Leads in App Revenue

Solana ranked #1 for app revenue in August, pulling in $143 million. That figure represents 38% of all on-chain app revenue across the industry for the month.

That kind of revenue lead shows real user activity on the network, not just speculative trading. Strong app usage tends to support long-term demand for a blockchain's native token.SOL Leads in App Revenue

Transaction V1 Goes Live on Testnet

Solana also rolled out a technical upgrade this week. Transaction V1 (SIMD-0385) is now live on testnet, increasing the maximum transaction size by 3.3 times, from 1,232 bytes to 4,096 bytes.

The upgrade allows more complex transaction types, including ZK proofs, large multisig setups, and confidential transfers, to fit inside a single transaction.

Solana's team says the older transaction formats couldn't handle the developer features that modern apps now need.

Upgrades like this don't move price overnight, but they add to the case that Solana's infrastructure keeps improving.Transaction V1 Goes Live on Testnet

Solana ETF Outflows Break a Winning Streak

Not every signal is positive. Solana's U.S. spot ETFs saw an outflow of $6.13 million, snapping an 11-day streak of inflows. That's worth watching, since it could mean some institutional buyers are taking profits after the recent rally.

Solana Price Today: Key Numbers

The long/short ratio sitting near 1.002 shows the market is roughly balanced right now, though traders on Binance and OKX are leaning slightly toward long positions. Liquidations over the past day totaled $11.46 million, split fairly evenly between longs and shorts, a sign of active two-way trading rather than a one-sided panic.

Solana Price Chart: What Does the Pattern Show?

The SOL/USDT daily chart shows $SOL is trading near $100 after breaking out of a long-term descending channel. That's typically seen as a shift in trend direction.

More recently, the price has formed a short-term descending flag or wedge pattern. This kind of pattern can be a bullish continuation setup, but only if SOL holds the $98 to $100 support zone.

Here's how the levels break down:

  • A breakout above $104–$105 could open the door to $110–$112

  • Beyond that, the next resistance zone sits around $118–$120

  • A strong volume breakout above $120 could eventually target $135–$140

  • On the downside, a break below $98 could send SOL toward $94–$95, and possibly $90

Right now, the chart leans toward a bullish continuation as long as the $98–$100 support zone stays intact. That said, crypto markets can shift quickly, and support levels don't always hold.

Solana Price Prediction: The Bottom Line

SOL is entering the month with some strong fundamentals behind it. Record app revenue, a live testnet upgrade, and a technical breakout all support the case for further upside.

At the same time, the recent ETF outflow and a tight resistance zone near $104–$105 mean SOL still has work to do before analysts' $150 target becomes realistic. Traders watching the Solana price prediction closely will likely keep an eye on whether SOL can hold $100 support this week.
