XRP is trading near $1.13 as the broader crypto market climbed 1.38% to $2.23 trillion in the past day.
The token's move comes as traders watch two big events. One is the Federal Reserve's July 28-29 meeting. The other is progress on the CLARITY Act in Washington.
Fed Chairman Kevin Warsh will lead his second policy meeting since taking office in May. Rates currently sit between 3.50% and 3.75%. Warsh has said policymakers will not tolerate high inflation for long.
Chart analysis from EGRAG Crypto points to a large symmetrical triangle on the monthly chart. This pattern has formed since 2018.
Price has wicked below and closed below the lower trendline before, then recovered. Right now, price sits close to that lower support line again, near the 0.85 to 0.88 zone.
Analysts call the rising trendline the "white bridge." A breakout above the triangle's upper boundary would confirm the next leg higher, according to the chart notes.
Triangle Type | Upside Breakout Odds | Downside Breakout Odds |
Ascending | 70-75% | 25-30% |
Descending | 30-40% | 60-70% |
Symmetrical | 50% | 50% |
Two measured-move targets are drawn from the pattern.
Green target: $6.40, described as the first major level
White target: $30, which would only be reached after the token holds above its old highs
These are chart-based projections, not guarantees. The altcoin would need a confirmed breakout and retest before either level comes into focus.

Senator Cynthia Lummis is pushing the CLARITY Act partly as a response to North Korea's Lazarus Group, tied to major crypto thefts.
The bill would let the Treasury sanction foreign crypto firms linked to illicit finance. It would also give compliant firms legal cover when freezing suspicious transactions.
A new draft merges Senate Banking and Agriculture Committee language and adds an ethics provision for the first time.
A motion to proceed could come Monday or Tuesday, with a possible floor vote the week of August 3.
XRP's next move may depend on how the Fed decision and CLARITY Act vote play out this week.
A clean breakout above the triangle's upper trendline, paired with regulatory clarity, could support the case for higher targets. A rejection near current resistance could send price back toward the lower trendline instead.
Traders should watch the 0.85 to 0.88 zone as a short-term pivot area.
