When Is Starship Flight 14 Launching?

Flight 14 is set for Monday, September 28. The window opens at 7:15 a.m. CT and stays open for 75 minutes.

Live coverage should begin near 6:40 a.m. CT. Launch dates can slip because of weather or technical checks, so watch for updates.

Why Is Starship Flight 14 Important?

None of the 13 earlier test flights were meant to reach orbit. This time, the company wants a full orbital flight.

The rocket will also carry 26 new Starlink V3 satellites. They are built at a facility in Redmond, Washington.

The V3 satellites have solar arrays that can make twice as much power as older versions. They are also larger and send data faster to users.

So one flight tests three goals. It aims to reach orbit, deploy stronger Starlink satellites, and prove a launch system built for harder commercial and government missions.

Starship matters because Starlink was the company's largest and only profitable segment in the second quarter. It runs about 11,000 active satellites. Rival Eutelsat OneWeb runs roughly 650.

Volume was well below the average. The company still posts a loss per share of- $ 1.10.

Why Did SPCX Stock Drop After the IPO?

The company went public in June. It was described as the largest IPO on record, with a value near $2 trillion.

Shares hit a high of $225.64. They later dropped to a low of $104.83 and traded near $113 in late July.

Since then, the stock has bounced about 31% to nearly $149. Market watchers still point to questions about spending, contract terms, and the pace of the share unlock.

Growth plans go beyond rockets. The company has expanded into AI through deals for xAI and Anysphere.

Government work adds support too. That includes $1.6 billion from the U.S. Space Force and nearly $950 million from NASA. These deals support its launch business and future plans like Starship.

What Did Elon Musk Say About Starlink and Starship?

Elon Musk said on the August earnings call that Starlink could one day deliver most of the world's internet. He limited that to countries where the company is allowed to operate.

Starship is also tied to a major NASA mission next year. The plan is to return US astronauts to the surface of the Moon.

COO Gwynne Shotwell said earlier this month the company wants to launch "AI compute satellites" in 2027. Starship Super Heavy and its booster are designed to be fully reusable, which aims to cut the cost of carrying cargo to orbit.

What Is SPCX Stock Support and Resistance? (SPCX Technical Analysis)

On the 4-hour chart, SPCX is moving sideways between $148 and $150. It has climbed back from the $104.83 low.

Price holds above the medium- and long-term EMAs near $146.79 and $145.61. That keeps the short-term trend intact. It still sits just under the faster EMA at $149.84, so momentum is not fully confirmed.

Should You Buy SpaceX Stock Before Starship Flight 14?

Nobody can say how Monday will go. A launch can be delayed, scrubbed, or end early.

The stock may also move sharply on any result. Good news may already be priced in, and bad news could hit hard.

Some investors will watch the $150.98 level. Others care more about Starlink growth, AI plans, and the November 3 earnings date. Check SPCX news and official updates before you decide anything.
