MENA Blockchain Week 2026 (MENABCW) has officially concluded its landmark first edition as the MENA region’s first decentralized city-wide blockchain initiative. Held across Dubai with a Day 0 summit on 14 May and seven themed days from 18 to 24 May, the initiative drew 40+ events, 5,000+ attendees, and 100+ speakers across multiple city venues. Participation spanned ecosystem partners, exchanges, and regulators, including VARA, Binance, Coinbase, Polygon, Stellar Development Foundation, and Google, reinforcing Dubai's standing as a leading global blockchain hub. 

Across its eight days, MENA Blockchain Week 2026 (MENABCW) convened speakers from 50+ organizations shaping the blockchain, AI, and digital-asset landscape. The most notable included Binance, the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange; Coinbase; CoinMarketCap; Polygon; the Stellar Development Foundation, Bitpanda, UAE's Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA), Dubai Blockchain Center, Dubai's official blockchain hub; and Bahrain's Ministry of Interior. Major institutions and enterprises were represented by RAKBank, Oracle, e& (Etisalat), Talabat, and more. 

Organized and founded by SkyNet X Solutions (SNXS), powered by a strategic cofounding partner, Hadron Founders Club, the initiative was formally backed by Dubai Business Events (DBE), the official convention bureau of Dubai operating under the Department of Economy & Tourism (DET) through an official letter of support and a signed Memorandum of Understanding that aligned the event with Dubai’s Economic Agenda, D33.

MENABCW began on 14 May, four days before the public week opened. The Community Resilience Summit, a private, invitation-only gathering at DFHQ, 25H Hotel One Central, set the strategic tone. Regulators, founders, institutional investors, and policymakers convened to discuss what the ecosystem needs and what MENA’s next chapter in digital assets should look like.
