Bittensor Price Prediction: Can TAO Break the Triangle?

TAO Is Pressing Against Resistance; It Has Not Broken Yet

Bittensor price prediction interest is building again as TAO trades near $203.88, approaching the descending resistance line that has capped this chart for weeks. The move follows two separate tests of support near $183.10, both defended by buyers.

That kind of repeated defense usually gets a market's attention, and it has, but TAO still has to close convincingly above resistance before anyone can call this triangle broken.

Why Is TAO Gaining Attention Right Now?

With no major fresh catalyst in focus, the current move is being shaped mainly by price structure and trader positioning.TAO Price Performance Shows Short Term Recovery

TAO is up 1.18 percent over the past 24 hours and 4.20 percent over the past week, a welcome change after a 90-day stretch that left the token down more than 30 percent. The short-term numbers look encouraging, but the deeper damage from earlier this year has not been erased by a few strong sessions.

Traders Are Leaning Long, And The Liquidation Battle Shows It

Positioning across venues leans heavily toward longs. The Binance TAO/USDT account ratio sits at 2.01, Binance top trader accounts at 2.40, top trader positions at 2.53, and OKX accounts at 2.44.TAO Long Short Ratio Shows Strong Long Positioning

The positioning points in one direction: traders are already leaning toward upside while the technical breakout itself remains unresolved.

TAO Liquidation Data Shows Long and Short Pressure

Liquidation data shows an active fight rather than one side in control. Over the past 24 hours, longs absorbed the bigger share of liquidations at $217.78K against $89.55K in shorts.

The 12-hour window flips that pattern, with shorts taking $87.75K in damage against just $11.04K for longs during the recent bounce. The latest 4-hour window swings back toward longs again.Bittensor Open Interest Holds Near $299.56 Million

Open interest remains substantial near $299.56 million, and combined with this long-heavy positioning, that scale becomes a real risk if the anticipated breakout does not arrive.

The Daily Chart Still Shows A Descending Triangle

TAO is compressed inside a descending triangle on the daily chart, built from a sequence of lower highs pressing against horizontal support near $183.10.Bittensor Price Prediction Daily Descending Triangle Chart

Price is now testing the upper boundary of that structure, but the breakout has not been confirmed.

Daily RSI has climbed to 55.61, above the neutral 50 mark, which shows short-term momentum favors buyers without pushing into overbought territory. Improving RSI is not the same as a triangle breakout

Price still needs to close above resistance to settle that question.

Bittensor Support and Resistance Levels To Watch

$183.10 is the level that matters most right now. Buyers have already defended it twice, which says something about how much value the market places on this area, though repeated tests can also wear support down if demand eventually fades.

A confirmed daily close below $183.10 would damage the recovery case and open the door toward $164.16, with $144.74 becoming relevant only if selling pressure extends further.

On the upside, TAO first needs a convincing daily breakout above triangle resistance before $218.14 becomes the real test.

Absorbing sellers there could bring $242.76 into focus, and only sustained continuation beyond that would put $270.23 and eventually $290.59 into the conversation.

Bittensor Price Prediction Scenarios

Scenario

What It Would Take

Breakout Case

TAO confirms a daily close above descending resistance, bringing $218.14 into focus first, with $242.76 relevant if buyers hold, and $270.23 or $290.59 requiring much stronger continuation.

Compression Case

TAO holds above $183.10 but fails to break resistance, continuing to compress inside the triangle while traders wait for confirmation.

Breakdown Case

TAO confirms a daily close below $183.10, shifting attention toward $164.16 and potentially $144.74 on further weakness.

Are TAO Traders Getting Ahead of the Breakout?

As per the Coingabbar analyst, derivatives' positioning here looks more confident than the chart has earned. Long-heavy ratios across every venue show traders leaning hard toward continuation, and the recent liquidation pattern shows shorts have already paid a price for underestimating the bounce off $183.10.

None of that confirms the triangle is broken. If TAO closes convincingly above resistance, this positioning would already be aligned with the move.

If the price gets rejected again, especially with $183.10 back in play, some of that long-heavy exposure could become vulnerable quickly.

Where This Leaves TAO

For now, TAO sits at a genuine decision point rather than a confirmed one. $183.10 below and triangle resistance above are the two levels that will decide where this Bittensor price prediction goes from here.
