The Ethereum price is near $2,512 on the weekly chart, down about 1% this week. ETH is sitting close to the lower edge of a rising channel.
Bitmine keeps buying. A busy week of US data and developer talks is also ahead. Here is what the numbers show.
ETH price today is about $2,512 on Binance (ETH/USDT). The weekly candle opened at $2,536.94 and traded between $2,409.09 and $2,579.88.
Bitmine's update used $2,544 per ETH, citing Coinbase. ETH slipped from $2,726 to $2,544, which cut Bitmine's portfolio value by about $1.2 billion.

Bitmine holds 6,028,946 ETH, about 4.9% of the 122.1 million supply. Lookonchain puts the share at 4.94%, worth $15.24 billion.
It bought 12,532 ETH last week, worth about $31.67 million. That was the third small weekly buy in a row.
Week | ETH Bought |
Week to Oct 11 | 12,532 |
Week to Oct 4 | 15,112 |
Week before that | 17,362 |
Lookonchain says Bitmine is 77,442 ETH short of its 5% target. Chairman Tom Lee said in an SEC-filed transcript that the firm needs about 100,000 more. The numbers differ, but the gap is small either way.
Lee says Bitmine will be "done stacking" after that. He also expects a big bull market. That is his view, not a certainty.
Bitmine reported $16.2 billion in total crypto and "moonshots" on October 12, 2026.
Asset | Amount |
ETH | 6,028,946 (at $2,544 each) |
Bitcoin (BTC) | 214 |
Beast Industries stake | $180 million |
Eightco Holdings (ORBS) stake | $85 million |
Cash and marketable securities | $612 million |
About 84% of its ETH is staked, according to one report. Staking earns yield. It can also limit how fast the firm can sell.
The weekly chart shows a possible recovery pattern. ETH bounced from the long-term lower trendline near $1,500 to $1,600 earlier this year.
Since then, price has moved up inside a rising channel. That points to slow, steady buying, and it shapes this ETH price prediction.
RSI is at 56.32, above its average of 53.67. That is a mild positive, not a strong signal.
The 2025 high near $5,000 still sits far above.
Scenario | Level to Watch | What It Could Mean |
Neutral | Hold $2,250 to $2,350 | ETH stays inside the rising channel |
Bullish | Break above $2,750 to $2,900 with strong volume | Targets of $3,200, $3,500 and $4,000 |
Strong bullish | Sustained move above $4,000 | Possible retest of $4,750 to $5,000 |
Bearish | Close below $2,250 and the lower trendline | Move toward $2,000, then $1,500 to $1,600 |
This ETH price forecast uses chart levels only. No level guarantees a move. A breakout needs strong volume to be trusted.
Developers hold All Core Devs Consensus call No. 189 on October 15 at 10 a.m. The 90-minute call covers Glamsterdam, Hegotá, and how hard forks are built.
It is a planning call. It is not an upgrade activation.
Glamsterdam includes protocol-level proposer-builder separation and block access lists. Both aim to improve transaction processing and network efficiency. Developers turned it on for the Sepolia test network on October 6, with a 200 million gas limit.
Hegotá is expected in 2027. It targets censorship resistance, transaction processing, and security. Expect more Ethereum news after the call.
Spot ETH ETFs recorded $85.39 million in net outflows yesterday. That is the tenth straight day of outflows.
The reports give no clear cause. Still, steady outflows can point to weaker fund demand. Bitmine's buying runs against that trend.
For ETH news, the calendar is busy.

ETH is trading between $2,250 and $2,900 for now. Holding support keeps the bullish case alive. A drop below $2,250 weakens it.
Bitmine's buying adds steady demand. ETF outflows and inflation data add risk.
Whether ETH fits you depends on your goals and risk limits. Nobody can say where it goes next, so check several sources.
