What happens to a coin when almost nobody wants to trade it?
Traders have spent weeks debating where the bottom sits, yet the loudest signal lately is silence. That silence shapes every XRP price prediction right now. And thin trading can end in a sharp move either way.
As of November 1, 2026, at 04:30 UTC, the XRP price today sits between $1.24 and $1.25, based on CoinMarketCap XRP data.
Metric | Reading |
Price range (24h) | $1.24 to $1.25 |
24h change | -0.33% |
7-day change | -3.83% |
24h volume | $811.71M |
Market cap | $79.05B |
Volume stands out. It's down 70.66% in 24 hours, which leaves XRP trading volume at only 1.02% of the market cap.
Quiet tape. XRP slipped 0.33% and stayed pinned between $1.24 and $1.25. Buyers stepped back. Sellers didn't chase.
Headlines like Evernorth's Nasdaq debut haven't moved the price lately. Nobody's rushing in, and nobody's rushing out.

On the 4-hour XRP/USDT chart, price trades inside a descending channel, a falling lane of lower highs and lower lows. The latest candle sits at $1.2497, right on the dashed midline.
Four EMAs (moving averages that weight recent candles more) stack above price. The 20 EMA sits at $1.2644, the 50 EMA at $1.2849, the 100 EMA at $1.3099 and the 200 EMA at $1.3426.
RSI reads 39.51. That's weak, but it's nowhere near oversold.
In this XRP technical analysis, a flat chart after a hard drop looks like a coiled spring. Scratch that, a spring needs stored energy, and a 70.66% volume drop says the energy's gone. Bias stays bearish.
The XRP support and resistance map starts at $1.2002, where buyers defended with a long wick lower. Under it, $1.1500 is the next support zone on the chart.
The same floor drew demand in an earlier $1.20 support test. But the trouble with a floor that's tested this often, though. Each touch eats a few more resting buy orders.
So who steps in if $1.2002 breaks?
Resistance starts at $1.2634, then stacks at $1.2644, $1.2849 and $1.3099 where the EMAs sit. Above that, $1.3442 and the $1.3992 high cap the channel.
Peter Brandt's supply warning fits that picture. And the latest bounce stalled near the 200 EMA.
Futures volume is $926.84M, and spot volume is $176.26M, according to CoinGlass derivatives data. Open interest sits at $2.80B.
The odd part about those liquidations. They're tiny for a coin this size, just $408.56K over 24 hours, with longs at $266.08K and shorts at $142.48K.
But positioning leans long, at 2.5511 on Binance accounts and 3.9 on OKX. Crowded longs and thin books make a break under $1.2002, hurt more.

XRP ETF flows slipped to a net outflow of $496.50K as of October 30, 2026, at 20:00 UTC, per SoSoValue ETF data.
Bitwise lost $693.55K, and Grayscale lost $724.95K, while Canary added $922.00K. And 4 of 5 funds trade at a premium (price above the value of their holdings), with Grayscale at a 0.14% discount.
Total net assets sit at $1.42B, or 1.79% of the market cap.

As per XRPscan, the XRP Ledger processed 550,056 transactions today and activated 1,454 accounts. Network load reads low, at 24% of expected ledger size, so congestion isn't the problem.
Two amendments are moving through validators too. fixCleanup3_4_0 sits at 94% and SingleAssetVault at 60%, with 80% support needed.
But exchange-bound supply has hit price before, as Ripple's $150M Binance transfer showed.
Analyst Ali Charts' bottom call pointed to a burst of on-chain value moving while price hovered near $1.25.
That post is more than a week old now. Price is back in the same zone, but trading has thinned by 70.66%.
Value moved isn't direction. A big day can come from buyers, sellers or plain wallet shuffles, so the call holds only if $1.2002 does.
This XRP price prediction leans bearish to neutral, while the price trades under the 20 EMA at $1.2644. A squeeze looks likely, and the table maps both exits.
Scenario | Trigger | Target | Invalidation | Liquidity Condition |
Bull | 4-hour candle trading above $1.2644 with rising volume | $1.2849, then $1.3099 | Rejection at $1.2634, then a drop under $1.2002 | Needs volume above the current $811.71M daily level |
Base | Price keeps trading between $1.2002 and $1.2634 | $1.20 to $1.26 range | Either edge breaks on heavy volume | Thin books, small liquidations of $408.56K |
Bear | Trades below $1.2002 | $1.1500 | Reclaims $1.2634 | Crowded longs and thin books speed the fall |

A 4-hour candle trading above $1.3099, the 100 EMA, would flip the bias toward the bull rally toward $2 that analysts have floated. But $1.3992 still blocks that path.
If the 100 EMA gives way, the whole read changes. Not a rally, exactly. A shift in who's steering.
Below $1.1500, the range thesis ends completely. Either way, volume has to confirm the move.
