Pi Network announced a partnership with Open Standard, the company behind Open USD (OUSD). The post describes OUSD as a partner-governed stablecoin built as open infrastructure.
It says Open Standard works with more than 200 partners across payments, finance, technology, and crypto, including Visa, Google, and Stripe.

Those names belong to Open Standard's own network. They are not direct Pi partners.
The post also says Pi will explore rewards programs for Pioneers and wider utility across the ecosystem.
That wording describes intent and not a launched program, and the team says more details will follow.
On the weekly chart, PI has traded inside a rising channel since the July low. That followed a steep fall from the May and June highs.
Price is now at 0.09182, below the channel midline. It sits between support at 0.08542 and resistance at 0.09695.

The current weekly candle opened at 0.09080 and is green. It closes on Monday, October 5, at 5:30 AM IST (00:00 UTC), and every level here refers to weekly closes.
RSI reads 33.37 and sits slightly above its moving average of 28.90. Momentum is still weak, and buyers have not yet taken control, though the reading has started to stabilize.
Buyers need a weekly close above $0.09695, backed by volume higher than the average of the previous 20 weekly candles.
That move is about 5.6% above the current price. A follow-through push through the upper boundary of the channel would then open the higher targets.
The first of those is $0.11401, roughly 24.2% higher and close to the upper boundary. The next is 0.13532, near 47.4% above the current price. The green path expects a pullback to retest broken resistance after the first leg, which would be normal and would not cancel the move.
If sellers defend 0.09695, $PI would likely slide back toward $0.08542, about 7.0% lower.
That level lines up with the lower boundary of the channel, so a weekly close below it would break the pattern to the downside.
The chart then shows a drop to $0.07037, about 23.4% below the current price. That level marks the July low where the channel began. The last step is 0.05407, roughly 41.1% lower.
Support | Resistance |
$0.08542 | $0.09695 |
$0.07037 | $0.11401 |
$0.05407 | $0.13532 |
Scenario | Setup | Level |
Bull | Weekly close above $0.09695 on above-average volume, then a break of the channel's upper boundary | $0.11401, then $0.13532 |
Base | Price stays between the channel's lower boundary and the midline. | $0.08542 to $0.09695 |
Bear | Rejection at $0.09695, then a weekly close below $0.08542 and the lower boundary | $0.07037, then $0.05407 |
PI gained 0.2% against the dollar but lost 1.2% against Bitcoin over 24 hours. That suggests Bitcoin rose about 1.4% in the same period, and PI lagged it.
A stronger BTC can lift the wider market, yet PI has not matched recent Bitcoin gains. Anyone following this Pi Network price prediction 2026 outlook should watch that gap.
General market commentary on PI this week focuses on the Open Standard announcement. The news is a headline and not a confirmed catalyst, because the rewards plans are still described as exploratory.
The chart behind this Pi Network price prediction is clearer. A weekly close above $0.09695 with volume would matter more than the partnership post.
A close below $0.08542 would show sellers still in control.
